Your Solar Return Every year, on or around your birthday, you have a sacred moment that you should be aware of and ready for. This special moment is called your "solar return" and it occurs when the sun comes back to the exact degree (placement) as it did when you were born. This does not happen the same time every year but can happen the day before, on and even the day after your birthday. To find your solar return time, you must contact a professional astrologer and give them your birthday, time of birth and the city you were born in. The astrologer will also need to know the location or city of where you plan to be on your next birthday. With this information, the astrologer will give you the exact time of your special moment. Now here's what you do: Ten minutes before your solar return begins prepare yourself mentally, emotionally and physically. When the solar return occurs, you want to be happy, free of any worry or concern and be doing something you enjoy. Why? because this magical moment sets the stage for the next 12 months. Whatever happens then, however you feel, the frame of mind you're in, all will dictate how the year will progress. Therefore, you will not want to be arguing with your mate, feel depressed or have issues at work. You want to meditate, visualize and affirm the way you want your new year to go. Keep a journal of the next 30 hours after the solar return and write down what is happening to you. These 30 hours represent what the next 12 months could hold in store. You really do have control over your destiny! You can also get a solar return report prepared. It's about 55 pages in length and will explain what you can expect your new year to be like. It is a good idea to get the report done at least a month before your birthday so you can change or prepare for issues that may show in the report. If you don't like the aspects in the report, all you need to do is work with your astrologer on changing the location of where your solar return will take place. You may have to plan a vacation upstate or in another city to have the best possible aspects. My solar return was the night before my birthday this year. I listened to the "Somewhere In Time" CD and had a glass of Martini and Rossi as sat on my front porch. I closed my eyes and visualized everything I wanted for the year. It was perfect! I wrote down everything that happened over the next day. My friend spent part of the day with me and she complained about her husband the entire time. I knew every time I would see her over the next year, she would do the same. This was last June and as of this writing, six months later, she is still upset with him and I hear about it every time we get together!
