Maria, I attended your "soul mate" workshop last June, and I enjoyed it very much. I wanted to tell you something interesting. After the workshop was over, you gave each of the participants a hug and had a comment for them. you hugged me and wanted to know if I was married. I told you that I had recently divorced. You told me that a significant man would come in to my life, you said he was tall, broad shouldered, dark hair and dark eyes, that his name started with an "S", like Steve, Sam, or Stan. Well..... this month I reconnected with a male friend that I've always admired in more ways than one, but he was married so I never pursued anything other than friendship. Anyway, he moved out from his wife last December. We got together for dinner, had a wonderful evening, and I revealed my feelings for him, we hugged and kissed, it was spectacular. He fits your description physically, and his name is Steve, how about that? Karen was able to participate in the soul mate meditation that day with the group. We will be doing the same thing again at the Expo. However, the� new workshop will be a little different from the one I did last Spring. Just Another Day Like All Days?
Some astrologers say that November 8/9 may be just another day at the office. I don't agree with the sentiment that this is merely a day with an unusual astrological line-up, however, for many people it may be just that. At the Harmonic Convergence it is apparent in hindsight that things have changed profoundly since then but we did not realize the full significance at the time. November 8th is also one more high-energy time in an unfolding process toward ascension. It will take time and hindsight to understand the full import of this as well.

Many Other Cultures know About Ascension Dates
A lot has been written about the Mayan prophecies and the end of the Mayan calendar. In fact, the prophecies from many cultures point to the ascension date of 2012, including the Hopi prophecies that have been very accurate over the years. One fact about the Mayan calendar needs to be corrected. Their calendar does not end that day. More accurately it makes a transition into a new cycle. Many of the predictions about "the end of the world" are generated from that widely misquoted idea.

Do not buy into fear and end-of-the-world scenarios!
So what should you do that day? The emphasis is on unity, community and group participation. If you are a solitary observer remember that you are actually connected to a large network of spiritual participants. You can design a ritual as simple as a meditation or as elaborate as your imagination dictates.
