I am putting together free tarot workshops around Mid Michigan beginning this fall. The two hour intensive class is open to the public. Astrology This Month
Remember The full moon on June 2nd is in the sign of Sagittarius. Venus is still retrograde until the 29th so avoid getting married, accepting a first date, cosmetic surgeries and major shopping sprees. Saturn, the lord of karma is close to the United States sun sign and President Bush's now. Keep praying for peace and for gas prices to go down.
Major astrological news! The occultation of Venus on June 8th. This conjunction of Venus with the Sun, during which Venus appears as a black spot crossing the lower third of the sun, is a rare event. If you live in Michigan you will be able to view this for about 90 minutes but do NOT look directly at the sun. Better yet, view it on the Internet. The last time this occurred was in 1882. This is what we astrologers call an "Inferior conjunction of Venus" (the negative side of Venus). It usually correlates with troubling times. But remember sometimes a lot of good can come out of chaos as you will see this configuration has a good side too. In individual charts, people born near the following dates will most feel the effects of this occultation during from May through July those born within five days of June 8, September 9, December 9, and March 9. People born around these times should make sure they have a strong support system to get through some trying times with their love life and finances.
The next transit of this kind of Venus is due during 2012. After that, it will only occur during the next century. Astrologers predict that the period between this transit (June 8, 2004) and the next transit (2012 ) shall be a Golden Era for mankind.
What Does this mean?
In astrology the sun represents masculine energy and the life force. It's at the center and from its position, it drives all the planets. In your astrology chart, it's your life force. Venus is feminine - love. It's represents beauty, women and the goddess energy. So when Venus aligns with the Sun, the life force unites with love, female energy, harmony and the goddess principle.
The June occultation is at 18 degrees Gemini with an opposition to Pluto. This means very powerful energies are released to harmonize the masculine vital force enabled by the transformational energies of Pluto. It's almost irresistible. It's a powerful time of transformation for the world.

Summer Career Predictions
I've been getting tons of calls from people who are getting laid off, fired or can't find work. I hope you're not one of them! But no matter what your job situation is, astrologically there are highs and lows for all of us. I've compiled a forecast for each of the twelve signs regarding summer job aspects. If you know your rising sign read that paragraph to for more insight into your employment picture.
Aries - Don't expect to nab a job because of sheer luck....you'll have to work hard for that promotion but it could be yours on or around the full moon in July. If your career hopes don't pan out, don't give up because the beginning of 2005 things look much brighter!
Taurus - July 31st looks interesting because the full moon/blue moon hits your house of career. Look for answers to come regarding work related matters. Frustrations comes from ditsy co-workers. Patience will be the key in all work related matters!
Gemini - August 28th is a time to shoot for if you're looking for a change. You won't get paid what you're truly worth for at least another year unless you put your negotiating powers to work. Change is inevitable; if not this year perhaps in the spring of 2005.
Cancer - With Saturn transiting your sign for another 13 months, you're learning what hard work really is. Nothing comes easy but this fall you could get a break and May of 2005 is an opportune time to make positive changes, Best advice- hang in there! If you need to update your skills, go for it but don't jump feet first into new waters. Stay with the tried and true until after July 2005 when your load lightens and things become much easier
Leo - If you haven't already gotten a raise or made more money, what are you waiting for? Lucky Jupiter is on your side now and until the 27th of September when it comes to money and finances. You're worth every penny. So step up to the plate and increase the cash flow. An eclipse this fall looks to shake things up on the job front. Be ready to make changes by then if you need to.
Virgo - After the 29th of June, things flow easier on the career front. You'll enjoy your work and may be able to find new employment if you so wish. September and early October are good months and your income may increase from that point on and into late 2005. Be wary of making any major changes February - June 2005 as they could hinder financial goals at that time. It's a time to review where you've been and where you're going.
Libra - Expect to work very hard to achieve your goals. But there is a reward and a huge payoff if you've been diligent especially after summer of next year. This is a peak time in life for achievement and if you've laid solid foundations, much can be yours. If you need to find a job, the going is tough for a while but June and July this year looks promising. Jupiter comes to call near the end of September so you're in for lucky times that will last over a year.
Scorpio - You'll be extremely busy the end of June through the fist part of August. Make the most of a Mars transit to bring you a new job, increase your hours or get a much deserved promotion. You'll have more opportunities than you ever imagined if you put the word out you're ready to expand career possibilities.
Sagittarius - Wonderful news for you! Look for positive job results now and until the end of September. If there's anything you wish you do with your career, go for it. People are more apt to help make wishes come true after the 29th of this month. Make the most of this luckier than ever period.
Capricorn - Hold out and on until October for the job picture to brighten. You're coming into one of the nicest times in over 12 years for your career. There actually are two phases to this lucky period. One begins in late September and runs until February. Better have made a move or asked for a promotion by then or you'll be in a holding pattern until June of 2005. Then the employment picture brightens once again and you're apt to find work you really enjoy before November of 2005. The second phrase is the best of the two.
Aquarius - 2006 is what you want to aim for. Set your sights on a major breakthrough as a career peak hits at that time. Prepare yourself now with extra classes, update skills or brown nose the boss. As earlier as this fall, (October through December 26th) you may get a sign as to a new direction. Changes with how you make money are inevitable before the end of this decade. So roll with punches and expect the unexpected.
Pisces - Look to others for help and guidance on the job front. People will want to assist you now and until the end of September. Take them up on their offers. Your contacts will pay off this summer and early fall. Toward the end of this year and the beginning of 2005, expect to be extremely busy and "overloaded" at work. |

Are You In The Right Job?
Many of us are working a job just for money these days. How many of you can honestly say you are passionate about your work? It doesn't seem like a job but a calling? If you are in the majority you probably feel like you have to go to work but would like to do something different if you could.
Feeling passionate about work means you have found a career that really fits your needs. Some of us don't have a clue as to what our true vocation should be. Many choose professions and careers just because they know they will find work in certain areas that offer a steady paycheck. That's only logical and it's called survival! Many of us choose a "career with potential" for only materialistic reasons. We want to be rich! But how can we find a career that corresponds to our real calling...one with goals in life which transcend the material level? One that uses our God-given talents? Realize that your job should also satisfy your soul?
One way we can find our true calling is to look in our birth chart. Our astrology chart give us the answers as to what we'd excel at as far as a career and give us an idea of what type of job we'd feel most satisfied and fulfilled in.
There's several steps to finding your true "calling" in your chart.
I usually look for Planets in the second, sixth and tenth house
2nd House = how you make your money: material possessions
6th House = work, co -workers and health
10th House = profession, position and reputation in society
The second house tells how you will make your money and if you will be well off or have to struggle to make ends meet.
The sixth house shows me what type of work you will do.
The 10th house shows me how successful you will be and what your goals are as well as specific titles you may hold example; doctor, boss, writer, teachers etc.
I also look at several key planets in your chart and where they fall
Sun: tells me the overall theme in your life
Moon: shows me what you need to do to be fulfilled
Mars: In what areas do you put the most energy?
Jupiter: In which areas are you luckiest?
Saturn: What area will you have the most responsibilities? Where do you encounter most of your obstacles?
With the ever changing and vulnerable job market, it's important to understand what you're astrological chart says you should be doing. Many times if you follow what this "map of your life" has laid out for you, things drop in your lap easily. Remember the saying "Do what you love and the money will follow"? Most of us don't take enough risks and can't afford to. But perhaps you could start a part time business or take courses while working your full time gig to enhance some new opportunities that should rightfully be yours! |
