Schedule of Appearances
Life and Style - Syndicated Television Show - I just came back from NYC last week where I was a guest on the talk show Life and Style. In Michigan it airs on Fox 66 WSMH (Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland) and in Detroit on WKBD TV 2. Check local listings for times in other cities. The show also airs on the Oxygen Channel on cable. It was a fun show to do. I spoke on soul mates and was in the first segment. Psychic John Edward was also a guest as was Rocco from the reality show "Restuarant". I think it is supposed to air next week. But I will keep you posted.
Soap Opera Digest comes out this week with a special section I wrote on nine fav daytime couples....about their relationships and special love connections. I gave them all readings and they commented on my analysis of their marriges, etc. This was a fun piece to do so please watch for the magazine available on newsstands across the country
National Examiner - is doing a giveaway for 15 winners in their mag.....each will receive a copy of my 2005 Moon Calendar. Look for that article and giveaway soon
J14 - A national Teen Magazine is doing a giveaway in their January issue for my teen tarot kit!
Complete Woman Magazine hits the stands in December with a special nine page love and sex horoscope section I wrote. It will give you a forecast for much of the year for your sun sign. Check it out!
Be sure to catch VH1 "Serial Daters" on December 27th as I give predictions for Paris Hilton, Johnny Deep, Colin Farrel, JLo and more of your fav celebs.
As you know, our cruise is ready to set sail very soon December 4-11. So I will be out of the office then. If you need to get a hold of me, call after the 12th
In February, Maria Shaw's Book of Love, published by Llewellyn debuts in bookstores across the country. I'm currently working on another book for Llewellyn as we speak and will probably be taking the last half of December off to write.

This next article is an edited version about the new website Llewellyn has put together for young adult and teen readers. It was written by my acquisitions editor Megan Atwood. The Teen Website is really cool and has something for everyone's tastes. I would recommend adults check it out too.
A Site for Sore Eyes

As the Acquisitions Specialist for the Young Adult and Middle Grade line of books here at Llewellyn, there have been certain things for which I have longed ever since I took the position. Here are just a few of my wishes:
- Books of Harry Potter magnitude.Our own magazine catering to teen girls that doesn't (shockingly!) tell them they're not good enough.
- A website just for readers aged 8-12 and 12-18.
Well, our books may not be as famous as the Harry Potter books, but I can tell you they're just as good. And as far as the magazine wish goes, I have to believe that most girls will rise up above the negative messages out there. As for the website...well, my wish came true. Yep! After a few years, lots of hard work, and some amazing effort, we have a website just for the teen/middle grade set.
For starters, there are four different channels that are almost like different websites in and of themselves. In the Fiction channel, you get the low-down on all our upcoming books and our backlist titles. You can also chat with yours truly. Well, not really chat so much as ask me questions about writing and publishing books … but you get the idea. For you aspiring teen writers, you might just get some tips to help you finish that pesky writing assignment you have … or even to start the book you've been thinking about writing. The sky's the limit!
Are you a card reader? Maybe an aspiring fortuneteller or Tarot guru? Check out the Tarot section of our website. Our Tarot expert, Barbara Moore, can answer specific questions about the cards or the process of reading them. Again, we have an awesome Frequently Asked Questions section that can help you with your own practice. If you're just beginning, this is the perfect place to find out a little bit more about the ways of the cards.
Finally, you can check out our Astrology page for some info on the stars. If you're a novice astrologer or just interested in compatibility issues for you and your significant other, this is the place to go. Maria Shaw, astrologer extraordinaire, can answer your specific questions, or you can go to the Frequently Asked Questions section if you're completely brand new. You can also check out the free daily horoscopes provided by Angelica Danton. Every day you can see what the stars have in store for you.
Speaking of free stuff, there is tons of cool, free stuff on this site. We've already highlighted the free daily horoscopes. Not too shabby. But we also have a free daily spell for the spellcasters out there; a free magical personality quiz that can help you find that latent magical being hiding within; and free web tarot to answer those pesky questions. You'll also want to keep your eye out for contests and giveaways that will pop up here and there. There's always something going on in this site!
So, you see, wishes do come true. With a little hard work, some good ideas, and some darn good books (if I do say so myself) we've built you a website that will entertain, inform, and keep you connected. Make sure to check back often and to get the word out. There's truly something for everyone on this site! |

Problems with getting my newsletters?
We're having more and more problems with email providers blocking us, as we are suspected of sending spam around with this email letter. If you miss out on any future issues (currently AOL, .cs, worldnett.att.net members and even some MSN addresses are a huge trouble here) ask your email provider to UNBLOCK this newsletter address. AOL members need to phone the AOL Postmaster Hotline at 1-703-265-4670 or 1-888-212-5537 and ask them to get us on the whitelist. (And then they are first going to monitor our email behaviour. :-) )
Each week we are sending the non deliverables on to Rich who takes great pains in getting the email newsletter to you but, boy, it is almost becoming unmanagable with the current anti-spam politics. We're suffering both ways now. From the spam and from the blockades. Please note that if you miss out on any future issue, this may be because YOUR provider has blocked our email address. What can you do? Ask your provider to unblock this newsletter email address immediately...for this is not an unsolicited bulkmail but a much wanted one. :-)
