Happy Spring Everyone!
In a few weeks, spring will be back and it's been a long winter here in Michigan with a healthy amount of snow. Here's what we have coming up as far as March dates. You'll notice I have a lighter schedule than usual because I am taking time off to finish another book for Llewellyn that should be out in 2006 about Sun sign astrology. I'm on a deadline and it's easy to get writer's block these days so I had to cutback on appearances at least until the book is finished. So.... |

Schedule
March 1 - I will be a guest on Spirit Connections radio show out of Georgia. It is an Internet show and will be talking about soul mates and past lives as well as relationship issues. Live 2-3p.m. EST and. 1-2pm CST
March 12 & 13 - Pt Huron MI for Maria's Psychic Fun Fair 10a.m. to 5p.m. Comfort Inn off the Water Street exit. I still have a few openings for private appointments left. At 1p.m. on both days, Barb Garza will be hosting a free workshop called How to Develop Your Psychic Abilities. It will run for about an hour. It's free with your admission to the fair.
March 13 - Sunday Night - A Special Evening with Maria Shaw and Man at Large-"Affairs of the Heart" 102.5FM Radio show in Michigan 7p.m. - 8p.m. "Lucky Charms" will be our theme with St Paddy's Day coming as well as spring horoscopes and giveaways.
March 19th - Hampton Inn - Saginaw MI 11a.m. to 6p.m. New Hours! Psychic fun fair....same as above with Barb hosting a free workshop
Early news for Minneapolis and surrounding areas - I will be in Minnesota May 13- 15. More details to come! I love Minnesota and was last there in June so I am looking forward to seeing all of my wonderful friends and clients in a few months...not to mention, the "Mall"!!!!!
Will be back in New Orleans the end of March. Details to come on appearances/book signings.
For my friends in Ft Lauderdale - Still working on a time frame to come and see you all too. Soon! I promise. I need to get my book completed and then can come visit South Florida. I miss everyone there!
It looks like I'll be back in Los Angeles for some media/tv shows later this spring and will keep you folks in California updated too. |

The Moon and Your Mate

Last month we talked about the moon and how it affected our daily routines, this month, my newsletter takes us on another journey "to the moon" as well look at how it helps us choose who to fall in love with! Each of us has a sun sign. You know yours because it was the day you were born. For example, if you born June 1, 1989, your sun sign would be Gemini. Each of us also has a moon sign. However, the moon changes every 2-and-1/4 days, rather than every 30 days like the sun. So it moves from sign to sign very quickly. While your sun sign represents who you are on the outside, the moon represents who you are on the inside or your emotional side. Our emotions are what we use to choose who we fall in love with. Our intellectual side may tell us "Don't go there!" or "Stay away from him!" but our emotions always win out in the game of love....because love is all about how we feel.
If you don't know your moon sign, you can go to astro.com and print off a free astrological chart to find it or you can email me and one of my assistants will do the research and get back to you. Here's the rundown of each of the moon signs and what they are looking for in love:
Aries Moon - Needs a partner who will stimulate you. Someone you can chase after that's a challenge and exciting!
Taurus Moon - Needs comfort and someone who can provide a good living, a luxurious home and great sex.
Gemini - Needs someone who can play! Communication is very important. Look for someone who can make you laugh.
Cancer - You need emotional security; to feel loved and safe. Someone who will nurture you.
Leo - Look for a partner that makes you feel good about yourself. Someone who will place you on a pedestal and admire you.
Virgo - You need to be needed so its important a partner needs you! Look also for someone who can lift your spirits when you worry too much.
Libra - You long for someone who is romantic and easy going. You hate to be alone so it's important you find someone who wants to spend a lot of time together.
Scorpio - You like to be feel as if you are the one in control and able to call the shots. You need someone who will let you get your way and at the same time be intense, passionate and sensitive.
Sagittarius - You want someone open to change and variety. A person who is positive, upbeat and also your best friend is a must.
Capricorn - You need someone with solid family values and someone who appreciates tradition, hard work and is respectful.
Aquarius - You need someone who will give you the freedom† to be yourself and explore the world. They must like your friends too and be able to handle your eccentric ways.
Pisces - You're searching for a romantic person and someone who will shower you with sympathy, love and devotion. |

Don't forget mercury goes retrograde March 19-April 12..double check everything and read the chapter in my book The Enchanted Soul or in the newsletter archive on my website about things you should and shouldn't do during this crazy period.
Good money days are March 1 though the 5th as all as the 7th, 9th, 11th and 14th. Look also for good financial periods on the 16th, 19th, 21, 26, 29-31. |

Astrology Classes
Many of you have asked me about beginners astrology classes. I would love to teach them and will one day when things slow down here but in the meantime, ISAR, the international society for astrological research is holding its biannual conference in Chicago August 17-21. ISAR has added a beginner track of lectures and workshops from the best astrologers all over the country. I am honored to speak at the conference as part of the faculty. Susan Miller will be speaking as well as a host of the best of the best in the world! If you are interested in learning more go to www.isarastrology.com for info. If I hear from a number of you, I will plan a luncheon for all of us to meet at one afternoon for fun! |

Problems with getting my newsletters?
We're having more and more problems with email providers blocking us, as we are suspected of sending spam around with this email letter. If you miss out on any future issues (currently AOL, .cs, worldnett.att.net members and even some MSN addresses are a huge trouble here) ask your email provider to UNBLOCK this newsletter address. AOL members need to phone the AOL Postmaster Hotline at 1-703-265-4670 or 1-888-212-5537 and ask them to get us on the whitelist. (And then they are first going to monitor our email behaviour. :-) )
Each week we are sending the non deliverables on to Rich who takes great pains in getting the email newsletter to you but, boy, it is almost becoming unmanagable with the current anti-spam politics. We're suffering both ways now. From the spam and from the blockades. Please note that if you miss out on any future issue, this may be because YOUR provider has blocked our email address. What can you do? Ask your provider to unblock this newsletter email address immediately...for this is not an unsolicited bulkmail but a much wanted one. :-)
