I have never been to a seminar like this before....I am really looking forward to it...there is so much that I want to learn...I have always been a bit different then others around me...I first met you at one of your talks that you gave in Traverse City at the Higher Self awhile back....I stood way in the back thinking I would be out of the way and in a quiet spot where I wouldn't draw any attention......but you had other ideas.....you had me working on my energy field in a charka class....then you pointed me out to everyone as a healer and someone in love...there was no hiding for me that day....Thank you for bring this seminar to our area...everything seems to always be in California or places I've never heard of...plus the costs are beyond me....thank you again, Laura

Hi Maria,

Just wanted to write and tell you some things about the past life reading you gave me. You told me that I was a female Jewish prisoner during the Nazi Germany era who they did experiments with my reproductive organs. Remember when I said I had a dream with my Labordorite stone and I think I told you how I just remembered seeing the Nazi sign? Well something hit me that came back up from my sub conscious of that dream. I remember seeing an "A" word which was the name of a concentration camp. I looked on Wikipedia for the name of the concentration camps and found one in Poland Auschwitz Concentration Camp. I then kept hearing the name Carl/Karl in my head and looked at all the "doctors" and found one that did sterilization experiments on the women. Dr. Carl Clauberg was the man who did experiments on me, along with his assistants. It said here that some women were executed just so they could do autopsies and I believe that is what happened since you said I got an infection in my uterus and I died with an older woman holding me and 3 children around me. I believe they were next to die as well, but I died first. Along with Carl Clauberg, these were the other doctors there and their experiments:

Dr. Josef Mengele — He killed the inmates for dissection, disposed of them when they were weak, or he just saw no use for them. He concentrated on the nature versus nurture controversy, and tried to prove that nature trumped nurture (i.e., heredity counted for everything and environment nothing). He was obsessed with eye color, blood type, and the disease that left gaping holes in the cheeks of Gypsy children.

Dr. Carl Clauberg — He focused on sterilization by injection. His method was to inject a caustic substance into the cervix in order to obstruct the fallopian tubes. His experimental subjects were married women between the ages of twenty and forty who had already had children. (I think you saw something like this being done to me!)

Dr. Horst Schumann — His experimental subjects were healthy men and women in their late teens or early twenties, on whom he attempted X-ray sterilization. Women were put between plates that pressed against abdomen and their back. He placed the men’s penis and scrotum on a special plate. Radiation burns and intestinal damage were a frequent result.

Dr. August Hirt — He selected women based on their racial characteristics. They were given a physical examination for reassurance and then gassed. The corpses were transported to the anatomy pavilion of the Strasbourg University Hospital.

Fascinating and just so sad what these people went through. This explains my fear of doctors from when I was a kid (although that's normal...but I'm still a little afraid of doctors, just I try not to show it).

Thank you Maria for helping me uncover a past life! I wanted to share with you that you seemed to have been right on and that my dream with the Laboratories stone helped as well. I don't remember much of the dream just the Nazi sign and seeing Auschwitz (although it was spelled in German letters in the dream and I (the current me) couldn't make it out I could only recognize the letter A").

I have a room mate going on 4 years. We were best tfriends. She is a Cancer. Things have happened and we have drifted apart. Now we have drifted more. We also work together. What do you see is going to happen?

Dear Kari- I think both of your girls are a lot more sensitive than you let on to one another. She got her feelings hurt at one point and so did you. But I don't think anyone is really really taking about it.She had a few rough years back in 2003-2005 and then she has money issues. Then the past few years have been tough for you. If you were a married couple, you would probably have divorced from all of the outside stress in your lives. But since you were best friends, you were able to hang tough but the outside stress did take a toll on the relationship. At least it didn't end it but it did change it. Sometimes, people are put into our lives for a special reason. There is usually a contract made between two souls before they are born to come to this earth plane and meet up at a predestined time. Mostly this time, is when there is a lesson to be learned, a crisis to get through or some sort of issues that the individual soul may take on but needs support or help with. I believe, because of the amount of time and the time frames in which you have known the roommate, that you are her Saturn Person and she is your Saturn Person. Let me explain. Saturn is a planet that visits your sun sign every 30 years, When it does, it creates al sort so lessons, tests, challenges for whatever sign it is visiting for those several years. First Saturn visited Cancer in 2003-2005. Then it visited Leo (up until this fall). Combine this with the fact that you too were also living together; one of the most important relationships we have are with the people we our home with.We need special people "angels", supporters, friends when we deal with a Saturn cycle in our lives because we feel overwhelmed at times. These people are put in our path to help us grow, offer support and love, etc. We can learn much from those that enter our lives for the Saturn period. Once the Saturn cycle is over, the relationship has served its purpose and is no longer needed. It has done its job and can no longer serve a true purpose. So the relationship starts to unravel or be less important in our lives. I believe this is what is happening between you and your friend. You both were there for one another. The soul agreement has been fulfilled. You may think you need her but you don't. It is said to let someone go but you may have to. I do not think the relationship is over. I just think it has changed .Another interesting note to tell you....looking at your charts, it appears one of your (in a previous lifetime) could have been the mother to the other and promised to be there during difficult times to ease the challenges that Saturn's heavy hand dealt .I know you my be sad about this, but look at the relationship from a spiritual standpoint and see how much you've grown because of one another and how much support was offered. You both helped each other go through and get though some stuff. But it appears it is time to move on. You can honor the relationship and still keep in touch but it has changed, You have grown together and now are growing apart. That's okay. It's normal. Eventually, you will think of your friend fondly and it wont bother you as much but you will be still be grateful for the time spent together. Over the course of your life, you will have many people you will draw to you that will help you on your path in this journey we call life. Again you have hit it on the head. I so believe that people come in your life for a reason and they leave for a reason. If you don't mind I will tell you a little story about this situation. See, her and I worked together for like almost 10 years and didn't really talk to each other or didn't hang out or any thing. I don't want to say we didn't like each other but that's how it seemed. Any way, all of a sudden she started talking to me and we started hanging out. Then a while after that my mom passed away and her and her husband decided to get a divorce. I bought a house. Two weeks before I sign on my house my mom passed. I really don't know what I would of done with out her thru that time. It just seemed like when my mom knew that I had some one to take care of me sort of speak that she knew it was ok to go. Even though she was only 56. Again I so believe that people come in your life for what ever reason even if it's for a short time. I just don't like it cause it hurts some times but more then others.

In September 2006 you gave my husband & me a private reading at the Midland Hampton Inn. We discussed with you that we are leaving Midland to move to North Carolina

You gave us a time window when it would be best to move out of Michigan and begin building our home (September 10 through November 15, 2007). You told us that we would not wait until 2008 to move, and that something would happen with one of our jobs to make the early move possible.

YOU WERE EXACTLY RIGHT ----- ABOUT EVERYTHING! My employer has okayed a home office for me, so we can move as soon as we sell our home. We are putting our home on the market within the next couple weeks....and that means I may be trying to move in late September, just like you told us we would be doing ten months ago. You even told us that we would be making lots of trips up & down I-75, and we bought a cargo van for that purpose last evening.

Your insight is so accurate that it is scary!

Editor's Note: In the last newsletter we asked our Leo StarScopers to share what they went through during the transit of Saturn to their sun sign (July 2005-Sept 2007)

Saturn's tests and challenges us but it also rewards us at the end of the cycle So for all of you Leos out there, your time is coming for something great to happen!

Hi Maria! Just wanted to drop you a note to mention that I have had quite a Saturn experience over the past few years, not because I am a Leo, but because I have so much Leo in my chart (ascendant, moon, mars).

My father died in June 2005 and my uncle, his brother, 3 months to the day later. My best friend to whom I had become engaged in May of 05, refused to support me in my grief, tried to emotionally punish me for needing and wanting to be supported, lashed out at me publicly and violently in August of 05, then cheated on me. Needless to say we broke up immediately after and to this day I have not spoken to him since. It was a terrible time for me and I felt hopeless and empty and very, very alone.

My father's estate has been a royal mess to deal with and still isn't closed (my fingers are crossed that it will be by the end of August/beginning of September). I have had to file a bar complaint against my lawyer, make a complaint to the insurance commission about one of the companies my fathers investments were with, and my brother, the only other heir has accused me of embezzling from my father's estate and cheating him out of his "fair share."

I have wanted to move desperately since fall of 05, but because I am an identity theft victim and because of family obligations and financial constraints, some relating to my father's estate, I have been unable to and it keeps getting pushed further and further into the future. I am hopeful that I will now be able to move at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

All of the legal hassles relating to my identity theft have not been resolved and it has felt very much like I am just spinning my wheels or bashing my head against a wall (or Saturn as the case may be).

My career has been somewhat stable, but still feels very challenging and not very rewarding. It feels as though I take one step forward and 2 backwards most of the time. I still feel as though I am in an ongoing period of transition with my career and I have yet to get to a place where I feel rewarded or satisfied or stable because it always seems to be in flux. I just don't feel that I am doing what I want to do or what I am meant to do yet.

My relationship with my brother has been very strained aside from the estate issues. We were fairly close in mid to late 05, but starting in January 06 he became very selfish and seemingly put no effort into our relationship, started blowing off plans, not following through on anything, etc. My brother is one of the most important people in my life and this has been very hurtful.

On the upside, my relationship with my mother had also been very strained, but she and I have both worked very hard on redefining our relationship and are getting along better than we ever have and are both thrilled. My friendships are all very strong and very rewarding and I feel very blessed and very lucky to have made such amazing connections with people in the past couple of years. I also reconnected with a childhood friend in January and we have been dating ever since and it is the most supportive, wonderful relationship I have ever been in.

I have also been able to capitalize on the weight loss aspect of Saturn. When my father died in June of 2005, I wore a size 16 suit to his funeral. As I sit here and I write to you I am a size 4 and I am not quite done losing weight. It has not been difficult or a struggle. The weight has literally just fallen off of me!

On a separate note, I also wanted to mention that I have really felt the scattered ness that you wrote about in your article and I read it and said "thank God I'm not loosing my mind!" I totally felt like I was because it is SO unlike me to be scattered and I've been driving myself crazy and a few of my friends think that I'm having some sort of breakdown!

Anyway, just wanted to give you a shout and share my Saturn stories. I might not actually be a Leo, but I certainly have enough Leo in my chart to have felt like I was in the past two years! I am VERY much looking forward to continue moving through and away from this influence!

Maria's Note: Janelle used my Astro Diet book and was on our program since the beginning of Saturn. She looks fabulous! Saturn along with the Astro Diet Tips helped her to lose weight. That is one benefit of Saturn; it restricts you in a lot of ways but it restricts your waistline from growing too! I watch Celebrity Fit Club on VH1 and Maureen McCormick, (Marsha Brady from the Brady Bunch TV show) was on the show. I also did a horoscope forecast for her in a one of my recent National Enquirer columns. But anyway, she is 51 years old and a Leo. She was the biggest loser in the history of the Celebrity Fit Club Show. I think she got down to 117 pounds from 156 or something like that. It didn't surprise me because Saturn on her sun helped her a great deal! You can really lose a lot of weight when you have a Saturn transit. Virgo....you're next!

I am a July 31, 1965 Leo. Last year Saturn taskmaster tore me up. It was a horrible year. It started off with me having a car accident. I wrecked my car and had to buy another one. Luckily I had received an inheritance settlement and I had the money to buy another one and pay cash for it. I loaned someone $4,000 to save their home and he won't pay me back. Returns all letters & cards.

After my car accident I went to the doctor because it was my health that caused it. I found out all in one day I was anemic, type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure, fibroid tumor size of a 6 week old baby, lump on my breast and I was bleeding into my clothes constantly. I met a holistic ob/gym and I was waiting on him to get certified in Michigan to do my surgery. I continued to bleed until my blood level was so low it was affecting my brain. I went to my doctor, he checked my blood and put me in the hospital within an hour. They started blood transfusions right away and the next day all hell broke loose within my body. Spiked a fever of over 103.7 for a week 1/2, they couldn't stop the bleeding, my body was reacting to the transfusions. I was sick as a dog, bedridden with a diaper because of all the bleeding. They couldn't stop it no matter what they tried. They brought in all kinds of specialist. They did find cancer cells in my fallopian tubes but my entire belly area had infection pockets and everything was clumped together by the scar tissue. Finally, after being in there 10 days with a fever that wouldn't leave, we got it to break by laying on ice-packs for 2 days around the clock so I could have the surgery. I had a full hysterectomy, bladder, reconstructive bowel surgery all at the same time. I received over 16 pints of blood while in the hospital. All my original blood has been replaced. A woman carries 12-14 pints of blood. I went home with a cathedar for 2 weeks. Recovery has been rough, still recovering from it.

Went to an ENT doctor and he wanted to do nose surgery because of my chronic allergies & sinuses. I told him he was out of his mind, I just had major surgery and was still recovering.

I'm on social security disability and my son draws a grant off of me. He turned 18 in July after my surgery and decided to move in with his estranged dad because he wanted to smoke cigarettes and smoke marijuana so he took that money with him. My ex husband was living off my social security (huge slap in the face) and I got evicted from my apt. I didn't know what I was going to do because of my income and Spirit opened the doors. I found a 1-bedroom apt in Waterford with no income requirements for $350/mo including heat & gas. I needed the money to move in and Spirit provided. My ex-husband got threw in jail for childsupport and I got $3100. Paid off all my bills and moved me into my new apt. My new apt got broken into 2 times in 2 months but they didn't take anything, just kicked in the front door and came through the window. This is the first time I've been without my son. I was a single mom for over 13 years. I've been with him since his birth. I have learned to be alone and enjoy my own company. This is the first time I have ever lived alone.

I've been having a lot of problems with the car I bought but I love the car. A friend whose been a friend since 1995 just said goodbye one day and I've never heard from him again.

Now I know why so much bad stuff happened to me but there were blessings with each hardship. Saturn taskmaster was very rough on me. I'm glad to see him go and I hope I die before he returns in my sign.

I just read your article Saturn Visits Virgo for an Extended Stay. I am a Virgo, my birth date is September 2nd, I think I am in tune with Saturn; I have just shut the door on a dead end relationship, of almost 5 years. He was not the one for me, and have known it for a long time, I decided in mid June that I had to end the relationship in hope that someone worthy of my love and friendship was out there waiting for me. I see him on the horizon, taking it one step and day at a time.

I also have an Art jewelry business that I stated about 5 years ago. It has been a slow process, after purchasing the necessary equipment and taking a class here and there I'm pretty much taught myself. This year I have started to do Art shows/Fairs locally; although I have not hit my goal in sales I have come close. I have just recently thought that this is not for me it can be difficult and hard work when you are doing it on your own, and have had to ask family member and friends to help with shows. I'm pressing forward regardless of the difficulties I may face because people love my jewelry and I love the joy that my work brings to them.

I also have a day job that I do enjoy; I have been with the same business for 21.5 years same company that has been acquisitioned twice and I have been kept as an employee when I could have been given my walking slip. Although I have held many positions within I finally feel at peace in my current position.

I have raised 2 boys as a signal parent, both boys are doing ok. My Taurus Son is working hard at his job although he is not always happy with his boss, he continues to work hard and putting his best forward. He owns his own home and is in a relationship with a good girl of 6 years. My Cancer Son will be in the United States Navy 10 years on the 3rd of September, he is currently on the USS John C Stennis on deployment in the Persian Gulf, soon to be back state side. He has had bad luck in the relationship department, but is hopeful that there is someone out there waiting to meet him. I keep reinforcing the fact that there is a lid for every pot and the lids he has chosen in the past have been warped, and his lid is out there searching for him.

Just wanted to drop you a note and say hello. I have to say that I love receiving your StarScopes every month. They are so insightful.

I read that you would be in Salem for the first weekend in October. I guess our paths our still not destined to cross after all these years (can you believe it has been over 10 years since our very first reading together?) because I'll be in Salem this October too, but for the week of Halloween. It's actually my first time going. I'm so excited because I have always felt some deep connection to that town. I even did the Arthur Miller play "The Crucible" when I was an actor.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all the good energy you have passed along to my Aunt Sharon in this time of health worry. She has really taken it to heart. Thanks again and take care.

I have some great mystical tours and trips planned for this fall and next year. So I am telling you all to start a "Spiritual Journey" savings account because some of the trips to be announced, you are not going to want to miss! People has an amazing experience at the crystal mines in Arkansas and many of us, loved the cruise to Italy last fall. Still, more of you are signed up for the Salem Witches Tour; many of you who feel a past life connection to that period! Each trip I host, I do my best to capture the mystical, and spiritual essence of the area/sights. Our trips are not just a mini vacation but often a spiritual journey that leaves an impression on everyone who has ever traveled with our group.
