This is a lecture you do not want to miss! Rev. Miller is a wonderful and enthusiastic speaker as well as a knowledgeable teacher. She is also a medical intuitive, just as Edgar Cayce was and will explore and demonstrate her gift. There may also be time for body scanning and readings for select members of the audience. Monica will talk about grounding yourself, giving gratitude, trying different healing modalities, meditation, crystals for healing, being kind and gentle to yourself. I was reading up on the course description for this class and boy, is it jam-packed with so much useful and enlightening information, that it will be interesting to see if you all can get through it in the allotted time for class! This is your EVERYTHING class!
11a.m.-12:30p.m. - The Age of the Soul with Vonne (Minnesota). How old of a soul do you think you are? Do you feel as if you are on this earth plane for a very specific reason or rather several lessons? We are all here to play the role of the student or the teacher. Her life is a example of how all of us can "choose" to survive and grow during times of crisis, rather than becoming a victim. She beat terminal cancer. She caught a cheating husband in the "act". She built an empire in the southern fashion world and saw the rise and fall of her businesses, her relationships and her eventful life. Through it all, she used spirituality as a guide. With every challenge, she came a stronger, more determined soul. Bonnie will share her story of survival, joy and transformation with Conference attendees. You should not miss her talk! Love in the Palm of the Hand
Do you know that the lines in your palms reveal how lucky you'll be in love? For thousands of years, people all over the world have been seeking out palm readers for advice about the tiny markings and network of lines that reveal true love and heartache!
Joann Seckus, one of the country's top palmistry will be doing a class at our Cosmic Connections Convention on how to read the palm. So I thought I would kick off her lecture by sharing a little knowledge of my own about finding love in your palm.
When you are looking for romance or just flirting you probably notice a man or woman's eyes first. But did you know if you really want to get a clear picture of someone's personality you should look at their hands? You can tell a lot about someone's personality just by shaking their hand.
There are four type of hand shapes and each one of them relates to the four elements in astrology which are air, earth, water and fire.
The Air Hand
Usually sports a square palm with a lot of fine lines. Long fingers indicate folks who are creative, curious, love to talk and express themselves. The Air hand person is usually emotionally stable. They love to make new friends and help people. Think of these as "helping hands". Many Air Hands are teachers, journalists, writers and social workers. In love, they are looking for mates and dates that are fun to be with, have a good sense of humor and possess a positive attitude. They get bored easily with the same old routine. So if you are interested in an Air Hand make sure you're open to trying anything once!
Because the Air element relates to Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, many people born under these zodiac signs have Air Hand qualities.
The Earth Hand
These folks have a square palm with short fingers and deep lines. Earth hands are more serious minded and practical types. They like sports, physical activities, appreciate nature and the outdoors. In relationships the Earth Hand likes to take things slow and see how things progress before they fall in love. Some Earth Hand people are cautious and take a long time to let you know they're interested in you. They're hard to catch but easy to keep. But once they make a commitment, the Earth Hand will stick with you through thick and thin. They are looking for love with someone who is down to earth is easy going. These types appreciate long term relationships and don't need to date a lot of people at once. It takes a lot for them to end a relationship, but once they do, it's for good. They usually don't go back once they say goodbye.
The Earth Hand is associated with Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn type people. If you are not born under any of those signs, you may still possess some of the Earth Hand qualities.
The Water Hand
You'll recognize a Water Hand because of its rectangular palm and long fingers. These guys and girls are very sensitive and emotional, They love from the very depths of their soul. Some are shy and quiet. Others are outgoing and very creative. Both have wonderful imaginations. In love, they are looking for commitment and romance; a knight in shining armor or a princess to rescue. They believe in living "happily ever after" and "until death do us part". Make no mistake about it, Water Hands fall head over heels in love. Sometimes they tend to smother a partner because they desperately need security in love. So, they should hook up with the steady Earth Hands rather than a changeable Air or Fire Hand. The Water Hand is associated with the zodiac's water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces who share their traits.
The Fire Hand
Look for short fingers on a rectangular palm that boasts clear-cut definite lines. Fire Hands are found on people with a high burn rate; meaning they have lots of energy and are always on the go. Fire Hand people possess lots of charm and charisma. They love a good challenge. Always ready for action, Fire Hands fall head over heels in love. Many are creative. Some enjoy competitive sports. These folks are fun to be with! Never a dull moment. They love to travel to exciting places, are considered thrill seekers and always first to try anything new. In relationships, they want to share lots of affection, romance, and fun with their mates. Fire Hands relate to the fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius\. |
