This Summer is turning out to be a beautiful one!

Astro News

Whew! Are you feeling the energy already? The series of eclipses we have starting this month have already been making waves. Many relationships will be tested this summer. New solutions must be given for old problems. Things will not work like they used to or problems resolved until you take new types of action. The lesson with all three of the eclipses is about throwing old ideas/ways of doing things out the window and creating new ones. Whether it be at work, in the area of relationships….anything……new methods are required to deal with things. If you adhere to old solutions, you are only creating blockages in your life and you could actually make things worse and not see the end result you wish to create.

It is time to make changes. If you have a birthday within one day of the eclipse, it will be a life changing year for you and probably for the better! This eclipse is at 15 degrees Capricorn so if you have any degrees in your chart close to this, you will affected most; especially if you are a Capricorn or Cancer. The second eclipse on the 21st is in late degree of Cancer (29 degrees) and I feel this will have a big impact on the housing crisis and market within the next several months; especially October onward.

Already we are hearing news in the headlines perhaps brought on by the eclipses.

Farrah Fawcett (Aquarius) died last week, Michael Jackson (Virgo) and Ed McMahon (Pisces). I recall an eclipse year ago in which Princess Diana died and Mother Teresa. It is said death comes in "three" and we certainly had some shocks this past week in Hollywood. I had predicted a year ago in my National Enquirer column that Michael Jackson would have major troubles and possibly the worst year ever. He had Saturn on his sun sign as he was trying to make a comeback. He probably was not taking care of himself either and very stressed. Saturn is the karmic planet. Most Virgos will see this heavy aspect lift his fall and their lives will take a turn for the better by November.

The last eclipse of the summer is August 5/6th and in the sign of Aquarius.

Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio will be most affected by this.

July is going to full of surprises, twists and turns. Hang on and hang in there. Don't get upset by things you cannot change but rather find a new solution to an old problem and there can be break thru's.

Be extra careful this holiday season as there are some heavy aspects astrologically that relate to accidents on the road. Now and until July 4th and especially on July 1st, we have Mercury square Uranus which can bring on crazy driving conditions. Drive defensively and be very aware. This is not a good time to be on a cell phone, messing with your IPod or trying to multi task in your car. Something you're not anticipating while driving can cause an accident

Personal Power

Our personal power is something very subtle and yet always present. It is the quanta of energy that exists within us that feeds our energetic field, moves us through the day as we interact with others and drives us forward through life. It is not something tangible and yet it shows up to elicit tangible results. When we are empowered we are operating at a higher level of consciousness, vibrating at a higher frequency and feeling lighter in our being. This is the stuff that makes us feel good about who we are, what we know, what we do and how we do it. We all have it and it is ours exclusively. No one can take it from us. We must however engage it and the level with which we engage feeds our soul essence and brings about tangible results physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Unfortunately, for most of us being in this engaged state comes and goes throughout the day. It is not as consistent as we would like. As we interact with others we may doubt ourselves or feel less than our true self. We may assume someone else has more knowledge, experience or talent than us and as we compare ourselves to them, we give away a piece of our energetic power. If you have ever walked into a new classroom or meeting room where you don't know anyone and immediately assume everyone there is smarter, more studied and capable than you then you have given away your power. As you begin to get your footing, listen, observe and participate you realize that these people are just people and while they may have different skill sets or bodies of knowledge you all have something of value to contribute. You then reclaim your power and begin to operate at your higher level. Trusting yourself leads to more confidence in your inner power.

Our personal power is who we are, our body of inner knowledge, or talents or gifts, our feelings, our unique perception of the world, how we hold ourselves as we walk through the day and how we think of ourselves. Our power is both strong and fragile. Fragile because we take this beautiful energy and constantly compare it to others and more often than not, we allow ourselves to lose the comparison, sometimes for only moments other times for years. Recognizing this self doubt and comparative behavior helps keep us oriented in an observing mind rather than one of judgment and connected to our power center.

Our power is strong because when we are fully in our power we are tapped into "all that is", we are operating from a place of trust that who we are is a direct reflection of Spirit. Others respond to this and it brings out the very best in them as well. There is a charge in the air and energy flows in and out easily. Knowing that our personal power is ours is vital. Only we can give it away and diminish it by not trusting. It is ours and it is special. Spirit instilled it within us, allowing us that direct connection to Source. Step into your personal power, own it…it is yours.

Recent Travels

I just returned with Joe from Gettysburg where we did a live broadcast as well some ghost hunting on the Battlefields. The solider's really do own the town and it was the most haunted place I have ever been! No matter who you are and what you believe, you will have an experience in Gettysburg of the supernatural kind. Joe took a lot of photos and was able to capture spirit activity on film. A local psychic we had on our show made a good point; Barbara Lee said since in the spirit world, time means nothing, she wonders if the solider ghosts from the Civil War are still fighting a battle on the grounds there. Do they think the war is still going on? Many are seen at the spring filling water in their canteens and especially late at night. Residual hauntings? Many. It makes a cool trip for the entire family.
