Have you survived these crazy astrological influences this summer? Whew! What a season it has been. I have heard from so many of you who booked personal readings these past six weeks that it makes me feel better about my life!!!! LOL

Cancers, Capricorn, Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, Libra and Aries were most affected or folks with rising and moon signs too in those signs.

The aftermath of the eclipses could last for a few more weeks. The lesson for all of us, no matter what sun sign you are, is to come up with new solutions for old problems. My radio co host Joe Lawson and I have been busy touring the country, doing Twin Flames and Soul Mates workshops. We will still feel some of the eclipse energy for a few weeks. Now we have another aspect from the cosmos that relates to Mars; the energy planet. Currently we are in a cycle called Mars square Saturn. We are being asked by the universe not to go off into too many directions at once but you may feel a heavy explosive energy within side of you that wants to fight. Keep your cool!

Maria – I bought a piece of black tourmaline from you in new Orleans at the psychic fair earlier this month. I have to tell you a story and I hope you don't think I am crazy. For the past 13 months, I have been haunted at night by footsteps around my bed and a strange energy that is unnerving. Once I even saw the outline of a man standing at the end of the bed. I have been unable to sleep except for a few hours on end because of this energy. I tried burning sage, and moving my bed, sleeping with lights on, saying prayers for protection and all. But nothing worked. I heard you speak about the black tourmaline at the fair and decided I might as well try it. I brought five pieces and put it on the floor in a semi circle around my bed and one at the bedroom door opening. The first night, I listened but there were no footsteps. I was able to get more sleep and felt relaxed. I thought maybe the ghost was just taking a breather so I tried it the next night and no footsteps! I could not believe it. It has been 10 days now and I have not been bothered. My friend said it may be psychological but I don't care because the tourmaline worked whichever and I am able to serenely sleep. Black Tourmaline is the best stone for protection against negative energies, ghosts and spirits. You didn't even need to buy that many stones but hey, it's worth it if you can sleep. It is a stone that is also good to keep negativity away from you. If someone is sending you bad energy, cursing you, gossiping, etc, it is a great stone to use to stop energy attacks. You can carry it with you or place it on a desk in your office etc. The Native American believed whoever was sending you the bad juju, would feel the energy come back on them. I have a large piece on my desk and have used it for many years to keep grounded and any negative people away.

Twin Flames, Twin Souls

Everyone has heard or used the word soul mates when describing a relationship of great intensity and love. But there is one connection that runs much deeper than even that of a soul mate. More and more people are finding there is a greater love and soul connection. It is called the Twin Flame or Twin Soul Connection. I remember reading about Twin Flames about ten years ago and thought to myself what a great theory. It explains a lot for many people in love but it also appears these unions are extremely rare. Most people, I read, will never reconnect with their twin souls for many lifetimes.

Lately, in my practice, I have noticed that twin flame connections are becoming more and more common. They are still uncommon but they are increasing in number. Everyone can find their soul mate if they look hard enough and you can have more than one soul mate too. Soul mates don't have to be a lover, your wife or boyfriend. Soul Mates can be your teachers, friends, kids and even for you pet lovers, your beloved dog or cat.

But Twin Flames are another story. They represent the highest form of love and spiritual connection two souls could ever have. You only get one twin soul and that is because you were originally a single soul at one point. Then you and your twin flame, broke off into two souls, to reincarnate and learn specific lessons individually. Because many of us are operating on a higher vibrational frequency these days (and I wrote about this in recent columns), more twin fame reunions are happening. These connections are the most fulfilling relationships we can enter into, on all levels imaginable. In the past, twin flame couples have been extremely rare. But as the acceleration of our spiritual transformation takes place, we are learning, growing and evolving at a faster rate; thus attracting to us our twin flames. Many of us have begun a huge healing process within the past few years. Great healing, from not just this lifetime from many prior lifetimes, is occurring. When we evolve, we do not need to learn as many mundane lessons. We begin to operate on a higher spiritual plane, thus coming back in contact with our Twin Soul. It's like coming back home in a sense and ready to do the work we need to do together for the soul's growth. When we cannot grow any more alone, we reunite with our Twin Flame to evolve together. It really is a homecoming!

When Twin Flames rekindle their fire, it is generally because together they are ready to do some kind of spiritual service work that effects the entire world in some way. This is their primary reason for finding each other. Then their energy is released into the universe, creating a destined path they will walk together. As our spirituality advances, more and more twins souls are finding one another. Now that's the good news. There is also a down side to this theory.Many Twin Flame reunions are unsuccessful because the couple or one of them is not prepared for the deep intensity they will feel. It is like nothing they have ever known before in this lifetime. The intensity is at a soul level. Even though the sexual chemistry is there, most couples will say, they just love being one another's presence.The strongest attraction is that of the spirit. This is Divine Love in its highest form. The chances of making a connection with your Twin Soul really depends on how evolved you are and if your karma has been worked through. It is only after your individual karma has been met, that you are ready for Twin Flame magic.

When twin flames reconnect, they both feel magnetically drawn to one another and many times have interesting spiritual experiences. They can sense what the other is thinking, feeling, etc. It's as if they are truly the other's half. There is definitely a psychic connection between the two.If you are fortunate enough to have met your twin flame already, make sure you do not allow old emotional wounds from other relationships to destroy what you have. Honor this relationship and consider yourself blessed. Because even though Twin Flames reunions are becoming more common, they still are very special and rare

Twin Flame Connections

You can only have one twin flame. Unlike a soul mate, which you can have many, you get only one Twin Flame. It is literally the other half of you. Meeting and being with your Twin Flame is not always easy because the things you like about yourself you'll see in your Twin but the things you don't like, you'll see too!

Twin Flames are reuniting more frequently because we are using more frequencies like cell phone, computers, etc than never before. They operate on vibration, energy and frequency so as you are constantly receiving energy, your vibration is drawing other frequencies to you and one of those could be your Twin Flame. Sometimes Twins come together at the most inconvenient time. Perhaps one is thirty years older or perhaps attached to someone else when you meet. You will drop everything and everyone to be with your Twin. You have to because it is coming back together with yourself. It is a relationship that creates a whole "YOU." What has been missing all of your life and the void you feel is now filled but it is not without troubles and problems to work through especially if there are others to consider in the picture. Twin Flames meet when they are on the verge of doing the work they were born to do together but could not do solo. When you are away from your Twin Flame you will have physical pain. You will feel disconnected. This is not the same as OCD although it may feel like it. You can read each others thoughts. You can feel each other's pain and happiness. When you first meet it is like a homecoming and once you meet, you can never part or you will lose a part of yourself. It is the most intense relationship ever. There's ways to determine if you are with a Twin Flame or a soul mate. There is a difference and some of the things I mentioned in this article are just a few.

Hi Joe!

I met you at a psychic fair. I'm the lady with the twin flame who has lots of 'baggage'…geez..

I just wanted to thank you again for your unique insight into my difficult life as a Twin Flame. You were so genuinely concerned and generous with your time and advice. Our talk made a huge impact on me. I cried for days-and believe me, I'm not a 'crier' by nature. I met with my Twin Flame as soon as possible (per your advice). To call it an emotional meeting would be a grave injustice…it was a heart-wrenching, soul-strangling conversation. He did share with me all that you referred to (though I did know of most of the other baggage already and, of course, was being shown more by my guides). He begged to be allowed to continue being in my life, regardless of how small or in whatever way I was comfortable with. It's strange that in these past weeks, we have worked through some severe pain and huge issues, which has brought healing to each of us. I took a break in communications with him for a short time (which was as close to the withdrawal pains of an addict as I can ever imagine.). And we've had blunt conversations about the effects of our connection - not just on us, but those tied to us. At this point, we are no longer physical but do communicate. I am still driven by the need to continue the work towards our mission. I don't know if other Twin Flame couples are able to continue their work without jeopardizing all else, but I would like to try. What's already transpired may still be exposed in October, but I can't change the past, I can only pray that obstacles be removed without inflicting pain in the future so we can continue our work. That is my focus.

Ironically enough, my unsuspecting, adoring husband, in realizing my sense of loss (of my Twin Flames, suggested that I return to whatever I was doing before because I was much happier that way…The Universe does have a sick sense of humor…LOL! I really was a better person-kinder and more patient towards my husband-when I was with my Twin flame. I'm now back to my life of obligation-being his caregiver, his companion, his nurse, his mother…but I will never be a true wife to him…how can I be when I have nothing left to offer him but a shell of what was left behind from my Twin Flame?

Anyway, I know that you were really torn about what/how much to tell me at the fair and I appreciate your honesty and professionalism. As I said then, there are limited resources for people like us. So few can truly understand the anxiety and the ecstasy that defines twin flame couples. So thank you, thank you for listening and for sharing your experiences and advice. I know my story is far from over…but perhaps you'll read about it in our writings one day… J Meanwhile, carry on the good and noble work, sir!
