The first month you began the Law of Abundance checks I wrote one and that month received $4,000 dollars in the mail. Totally unexpected. I gave some to charity and paid a few bills.

I never did one again. I have no idea why?????

Thank you so very much for the great insight and prediction with my love life! Just to let you know I just made plans yesterday to go on a date with my neighbor..his name happens to be Matt. (Just like the name you predicted I would be dating!) He is a very easy going, kind guy, who seems to be a dedicated gentleman type. Funny thing is I have been thinking of him a lot since we talked and for some strange reason almost had a sense of peace last night before going to bed, knowing that this man will be there for me.. so, I guess time will tell if he is the one that you are referring to. And I am definitely taking your advice about the two suitors and will be careful to make the correct decision eventually on who is right for long-term.. Hi Maria;

I called you about a year ago on the radio show, maybe sometime in November 2008. Well I called you as a "Kristen" wondering about my soulmate and if a "Chris" was the one who was it. He seemed like the only potential one who made "sense" and you felt there was a deep connection for me that would flourish sometime in 2009, maybe about January or February. Interestingly, you never confirmed Chris totally... Well it happened. It happened in February on the 16 (check out that date for numerology) and the Universe opened up the portal to allow my spiritual soulmate to show me who he was. I heard a voice to "change jobs" and obeyed. This happened in early January, and if I hadn't been spiritually awakened with your support, I would have never followed that inner truth, or inner voice of truth. It wasn't Chris but a wonderful man who believed in all of the spiritual things I believed in and was wondering when true spiritual love and ultimate respect from the right one would rear its head as well. I can tell you, we both probably fell in love instantly. Actually, the connection and energy was so strong and intertwined, he changed his flight dates from going back home to investigate what he was feeling, and I heard the person he told to watch his dog that he had, "fell in love". Using the law of attraction and all of the tools I have learned on my spiritual journey, I have opened my life and mind to endless possibilities of joy. Our infinite Creator knows the perfect time and perfect way in which everything should happen.

I just thought you should realize this success story and wanted you to know how many people you truly inspire.

Saturn will move into Libra and be at 0 degrees which is one of the most intense degrees to experience, October 29th through November 7th. Things are going to happen very quickly in our lives now, especially in regards to relationships and partnerships. Separations, new beginnings, meeting someone like a soul mate, filing divorce papers, incorporating a new business…. many things changing in our lives that have to do with our relationships with others. Some of the changes will take a little longer, maybe around November 15th or later, when the Saturn Square Pluto hits. The last phase of this cycle was in 2001. That's when 911 happened. I am not saying we will have another terrorist attack but the energies are ripe for long term challenges with others., whatever happens during this Saturn square Pluto now is just an introduction to what you will challenges you will experience next summer in 2010. Be aware of what is going on in your personal life as so you can understand where you need to place most of your attention.

Ghostly Ndventure in Diamondale, MI

On Saturday Joe and I along with associates of TAPS (paranormal investigation team) and 97.5FM in Lansing MI took to the airwaves lives from a haunted house in the sleepy community of Diamondale. The house was built in the 1800's and rumored for years to be haunted. Here's the letter the owner sent to the radio station requesting we come out for an investigation:

I live in a home built in the late 1800's. I have owned it since 1976. It is an old farm that has a little house out back where a lot of activity occurs. The little house was a bunkhouse for hired hands. Now it's a party house, boy it's a party when the lights go out. I've heard voices, to the point where I've told my husband to call the police. I've been touched on the shoulder and hand. We live on the Grand River, and this area was occupied by Native Americans. I am an avid hiker and there are areas I totally avoid.

This request is for me personally. My husband, daughter and friends have experienced many events. I have slept in my daughter's room, and have been woken up by an old man staring in my face with wicked bad tobacco breath.

Our doors into the basement are old carriage doors; they slam shut on a regular basis.

We have heard the same deep voiced man yell "hey" when we do something abruptly.

When the kids were little we couldn't keep a babysitter because of all the doors slamming and hearing someone coming up the stairs. I always thought my husband was home when I'd hear the garage doors slam and someone walking up the stairs, but I'd call down the stairs and no one would be there.

This home is in a spectacular location with 2 homes to investigate, would love to put my daughter at ease. This activity has been going on since we have moved in, and continues to occur on a regular basis.

Now here's the report Joe filed for you, the Starscopers last night

Pulling up to another house on another dark and rainy night, how many times have I done this before? Too many to count, somebody calls for help and as usual I come running. This is not your normal cry though, it's not natural, in fact, it's supernatural. Odd job to say the least. Only this time though, it's a little different. For one thing, I am working with a lot more people then I usually do and I am also working with a very powerful piece of new equipment that I brought along. My girlfriend, best friend and world-renowned psychic and National Enquirer Astrologer Maria Shaw. Let the fun begin!

It all started a few weeks ago, Maria comes home from her round of radio call in shows and asks me if we would like (notice the WE in this sentence, when the boss lady says something like, can we do something? Its not really a question, it's an opportunity for me to agree but it'll still going to happen!) to go out on a ghost hunt with Josh and Alabama from 97.5 in Lansing MI. They decided since its October they wanted to do a live broadcast/ghost hunt. So the call went out over the air to send in the scariest real life haunted house and Josh would pick the place and send us out to investigate and then let the fun begin. So Maria and I head out, already that morning she starts talking about things she is picking up about the place before we even see it or even leave home to go there. Both of us are what its called in the field as "sensitive". Her, pure psychic ability and me, its what they call clairsentient which means I just know when something is going on that is supernatural even if nothing is happing that you can see at the time which makes us a powerful combo, albeit, also very draining, as spirit need to draw energy to manifest. So we are kinda like two walking, talking (especially Maria) spectral draining batteries.

We decided to join forces with a local group of ghost hunters, Hauntings Paranormal who I know from Marias psychic fairs and head on out to Diamondale Mi. We do the walk through of the house with the owner Doreen and she tells us what's been happening. Maria and I walk the grounds while the team sets up the equipment and Maria starts naming names of people she is picking up on the grounds. As always with Maria she needs confirmation that she is picking up correctly and as always, she is right on. We talk to Doreen and ask her about the name Frank that Maria picked up on and she happens to have some books on the houses history and indeed a frank lived on the premises. There are really two places to investigate, the main house and the bunkhouse in back. The bunkhouse had been used by what we ended up calling the bunk master as a sort of safe house for people who just needed work back in the 1800's. It included people traveling and needing work as well as some freed convicts, etc… The bunk master as we called him was a hard man who insisted on order. The claims from the owner were full body apparitions of an older man including an incident in which she woke up in the middle of the night with what she described as an old craggly man with wicked bad tobacco breath about two inches from her face. Baby sitters don't stay long and Two carriage doors in the basement slam shut from time to time as well as and disembodied voice shouting "HEY" when the kids got to loud.

We decided to start the investigation in the bunkhouse. Maria immediately picks up the name Sam and he worked on the farm there but was very shy to communicate. After a few minutes he warmed up to Maria and we started to snap shots and take EVP reading, which is the use of a digital audio recorder used to pick up sound that we cannot hear at the time but can sometimes show up on a recording devise. We then break off and head to an area of the house that the owner had not mentioned as active but Maria picked up that something would happen in there, so we headed to a make shift office that the dogs the owner had do not like going into with out somebody with them. Maria and I, as well as Lorena from Hauntings Paranormal start our investigation in this little room. Maria starts talking about it having been at one time an older ladies bedroom and that she had a cat. Before she even said the word "cat" I felt something rubbing against my leg and we used the video camera I had to prove it as my pant leg was moving back and forth like a cat making its way through my legs. I then shot off some still shots and saw with my own eyes a woman sitting on the couch with Maria. Very Cool!! We made our way to the last area of the house that we're going to investigate that night… the basement. We head down and start taking video, EVP and still shots and not a whole lot is happening, until Maria says, Joe, there is somebody behind you. Great!! Just my luck. You have to be careful doing this type of work as spirits can sometime try to (and sometimes successfully) attach themselves to you and now you have a whole new problem in YOUR home. I am not unfamiliar with this problem, as I have had it before. They tend to try and attach themselves to an area of the body that is weaker, perhaps an old injury that never quite healed or a surgery that didn't go right, anything that is a weak point on the body. In cases like this, it is best to come prepared with protection. In my case I like to use Black Tourmaline. It is a gemstone used by the Native Americans for keeping away negative energy or unwanted house guests (try it on your mother in law) anything negative that you don't want around you. Plus I had Maria helping me by rubbing my back where it was trying to attach its self to (don't let her know that I may have lead on a little more then I should, as the attention and rubbing of the back was quite enjoyable). As of this writing all of the evidence has not been gone through yet, but whatever the findings are, they will be presented at Maria's Cosmic Connection convention on October 31 and November 1stat the Four Points Sheraton in Saginaw Michigan.

At the Cosmic Connection Convention this weekend, Joe and members of the research team will do a special lecture about their findings as well as answer questions from the audience. They will also demonstrate their investigation equipment and talk about "debunking" as well as proving if ghosts and spirit exist in specific places. Investigating the Paranormal

Paranormal expert Joe Lawson said spirit activity is on the rise.

"We have more spirit activity than ever before," he said. "We are the closest to the ether, the other side."

Lawson will speak as part of Maria Shaw's Halloween Cosmic Connections Convention Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at the Sheraton Four Points in Saginaw.

He credits this increased activity to technology. There are more frequencies being used, such as with cell phones and satellites, and this allows spirits to manifest themselves. Shows such as "Ghost Hunters" feature investigators who believe a spirit "sucks energy" from things like camera batteries, he said. Cameras and other battery-powered equipment are used as part of their investigations.

(While being interviewed via cell phone while investigating a site on Mackinac Island this week, the phone call with Lawson mysteriously dropped.)

This increased activity has led to an increased number of television shows on the topic. He commends shows like "Ghost Hunters" (and he's worked with some of its associates) for trying to actually investigate these places rather than just reenacting events (like shows in the 1980s) or just exploiting scared people hanging out at popular haunted locations.

Lawson has been interested in the paranormal since he was 5. Growing up in Pontiac, his surroundings spooked his interest.

"My backyard literally was a graveyard," he said. He would ask his mother who it was walking around out there, but she would tell him there wasn't anything.

"There was always that feeling of being watched," he said. "There was something just out of view."

The interest grew as he grew older, reading as much about the paranormal as he could. This grew into his investigations because he wanted to know if places were really haunted. He said 80 percent of the time there's something causing a so-called haunting. His first investigation was at a friend's house -- it turned out to be a pipe banging inside a wall.

"I'm not there to tell you you're wrong, but I'm there to help you figure what's going on," he said of his work. Most hauntings are reported at certain times of the year and there's often an easy answer.

"In fall and spring the reason there's more banging and clanging in the walls, you've done something you've done for the first time of the year," he said. This is often related to heating or cooling equipment starting for the first time.

"Look for the most obvious. What did you do different? What changed since you noticed spirit activity," he said. But, like many other investigators, he's not deadset on trying to debunk everything.

"There really is stuff out there."

He's investigated in several states. Two notable places are New Orleans and Gettysburg.

"If you want a guaranteed experience go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania." he said. Thousands died over such a short period -- and suddenly -- which led to a high concentrations of hauntings.

New Orleans' reputation as a haunted town is darker due to voodoo practice in part and other murders, he said.

"New Orleans is a great city, but they definitely have a darker energy there."

While he's sensitive to paranormal activity and says he can sense if there's some sort of spirit activity at a site usually, his colleague Maria Shaw has called out names when investigating haunted sites.

"Her psychic abilities are just superior," he said. He recalls one trip to Gettysburg in which they went upstairs in a potentially haunted house and Shaw "immediately started spouting out names."

During the talk at the conference, Lawson is going to show evidence he's collected at haunted sites including video, photos and electronic voice phenomenon (mysterious voices or sounds). He'll also talk about what to look for and what not to look for at haunted sites.

The conference is $79 for both days or $50 a day. There also will be a psychic fair ($5 admission) and a vendor area.
