Maria will be doing personal individual readings by appointment only at the Lapeer Center Building in Lapeer MI There are only 8 appointment slots available and an appointment must be made ahead of time by calling 810-659-6886. Maria's 30 minute rate is $150 and she takes all credit cards.
The 2010 reading will include 12 areas of life and more. You will receive a cassette tape as well; numerology, astrology, tarot and psychic.

Hey Cindy - we will be there doing private reading before the fair. The rate is the same as my phone reading rate for the half hour of $150 and includes a tape and the reading is good for 3 years! Looking forward to meeting you in person too. Just call ahead of time before we sell out.

Astro News

The new moon in Scorpio Monday will hold a lasting influence for quite some time and also create a unique energy for the rest of the week. If you have not already done so, it would be a good idea to make up a wish list today about the things you would like to "let go" of or see transform in your life. The new moon in the transformative and intense sign of Scorpio affects all of us in some way, shape or form. We all have Scorpio somewhere in our natal chart and this is the part of our life we will see much transformation in over the course of our lifetime. Now is the time to allow something to "die" so we can experience rebirth. Perhaps an old dream that is no longer valid, a relationship that has run its course or even a career that we can no longer grow in; are things some of us need to release.

On another level, there may be habits, old wounds, hurts, desire, etc that can now be released.

My friend and fellow astrologer DK from New Orleans said it best recently when writing about what the new moon in Scorpio can do for us…..

"(It gives) The ability to see into our souls and understand what drives us to do those things we don't want to do anymore but still feel compelled to do -- this is the gift of Scorpio. Because once we have awareness of the true nature of our thoughts, emotions and habitual acts, we can never again go back to a state of ignorance. Once awareness is reached, transformation of the root energy is only a matter of time."

So I am strongly suggesting that this week you take the time to recognize what you need to release and let go of. What are the things in your life that need transforming? This is the perfect time to pray, affirm, chart your course of action and begin the process of letting go; thus making way for new things to come into your life. You can remove blockages easier on all levels during this once a year new moon.

In closing I would like to say Happy Birthday to all of our Scorpio friends and clients; including Bonnie Broel, Michelle Evans, Lisa Potter, Betty Roberts and Joe Lawson (November 23, actually a Sagittarius but with three planets in Scorpio) and more! Scorpios have lived with transformation; death and dying only to be reborn again and again on a higher level, all of your life. You can teach us all something about breaking down and rebuilding and manifesting the life you desire. Scorpios get a bad rap a lot because of the things that have been written about them in horoscopes and books but overall, these are very spiritual and driven people that we all can learn a great deal from. Enjoy your birthdays!
