Nice Letters We Get
Hi Maria,
Thanks for the wonderful newsletters
The money pouch does work! I won $1,000.00 on a penny machine the day after ThanksGiving! Thanks soo much and God Bless! Cinthia
Maria,
I wrote out a "Law of Abundance" check to myself during this last cycle...within a week: someone gave me a generous gift certificate to my favorite spa (for a massage)...and a kind person at Verizon helped me save approximately $30 per month on my services with them! Many thanks for teaching me this amazing technique! I wrote another check to myself on the last day (30 November)...and look forward to seeing what happens next!
I'll keep an eye out for the next dates!
PB&J (Peace, Blessings and Joy!)
Joanne
That's great news! I also wanted everyone to know the LOA worked again for me. I got a check for two thousand dollars for past royality monies from my book published in foreign languages that was actually from 2006. It came three years late but I got it right after I wrote my LOA check out! Iknow it works. I wish I would have taken my own advice sooner....Maria
Dear Maria;
I just recived the law of abundance gemstone pouch I ordered from you last week. I did as one of your clients suggested and put my LOA check in the pouch with the gemstones and within four hours I received a blessing! I got a call from my doctors office that my medical bill was reneogoated and I was saving over $600 off my bill! Now, rightfully I owed my doctors this much for servives rendered but I had called the medical billing this past summer and asked if they would work something out. This never happens! Medical profession doesn't forgive debt but they reduced my bill by s substantial amount. The funny thing is they said they had misplaced the request and had just went over it a few hours ago. That must have been when I wrote the check and put it in the LOA gemstone pouch. This works! Thanks for offering this. Bless you!
Darlene

Winter Solstice Feng Shui
By Maria Shaw
By Stephanie Dempsey
The Winter Solstice marks the longest evening of the year, inviting us to scale back social activities and spend more time on meditative pursuits. This is a wonderful opportunity to rest, relax and reflect. By integrating some thoughtful feng shui cures into your home and office, you can avoid holiday burnout and enjoy this beautiful season to the fullest.
Cover Up -- Covering bare surfaces with fabric can slow the energy in your home, making your domestic life casual and relaxed. Keep a warm blanket thrown over the back of the couch. Cover cold floors with plush throw rugs. Spread a long tablecloth over the dining room table. Hang heavy drapes over drafty windows. The softer your surroundings, the happier you'll be this winter.
Rock On -- The fluid motion of a rocking chair is symbolic of winter's watery energy. Placing a rocking chair near the center of the entrance wall of a room will prompt you to make more time for your favorite pursuits. Other good places for a rocking chair include the center of the left side of the room, as well as the far left corner. Be sure to pad this chair with a plush, dark cushion for maximum effect.
Let the Music Play -- Playing soft music in your home will prompt cozy, contemplative activities like knitting, baking, reading and carpentry. Choir music is a good choice during winter months, as is gospel. Chamber music and Gregorian chants can have the same effect. Stay away from catchy pop tunes, as they are too distracting.
Go with the Flow -- Winter invites you to let go of rigid schedules and tune into your body's rhythms. If you have difficulty breaking out of a rut, place cascading plants throughout your home. Install an overhead rack of pots and pans in the kitchen. Hang winter coats from hooks in the hallway. Swag curtains so they fall in wave-like shapes. Suspending objects from a high point moves energy downward, enabling you to let go of stress. Such relaxed arrangements are in perfect keeping with winter energy.
Put Your Feet Up -- Footstools, ottomans and recliners are wonderful additions to a winter home. When you put your feet up, you're more prone to daydream, and there's no better time to build castles in the air than winter. If you play your cards right, you could even conceive of a screenplay, novel or poetry collection by the time spring arrives.
Get a Humidifier -- Winter months are notoriously dry, which can wreak havoc on your ears, nose and throat. Putting a warm air humidifier in the bedroom will be of tremendous benefit this season. Not only can it ward off disease, but a humidifier also symbolizes relaxing water energy. Falling asleep will be no trouble at all when you listen to your humidifier bubble and steam. And if there's any time you need to hibernate, it's winter!
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall -- Winter invites you to spend more time on yourself. One of the best ways you can do this is by installing a full-length mirror. Being able to see your entire reflection will make you more aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Make sure that your mirror is hung so it shows the top of your head, plus three inches above. Otherwise, you could underestimate your potential. The best placement for such a mirror is near the entrance wall of a room, so you can see your reflection before exiting.
Put Time on Your Side -- Winter poses a wonderful opportunity to make plans. By placing a round, white clock across from your desk, to the right of center, you'll make good use of your time. Don't sit directly beneath a clock, or you'll always feel pressed for time, and you should never feel rushed during winter!
Breathe Easy -- Integrating relaxing scents into your home will give you a deeper appreciation of the winter months. Putting a few drops of clary sage, geranium or frankincense essential oil in a diffuser can do the trick. Remember, a little goes a long way! If family squabbles are a problem, try cedarwood, jasmine or ylang-ylang. Such scents help release tension, especially in closed quarters.
Make Waves in the Bedroom -- Winter is an ideal time to improve your sex life, as its quiet, dark nature is conducive to intimacy. Bed linens with a wavy, undulating pattern will prompt you to spend more time between the sheets! |
We are still busy putting our 2010 calendar together for our fun fairs and adding new cities. We will be in Grand Rapids MI early in the year and possibly coming back to Virginia Beach as well as other area. Keep checking the calendar of events for updates. Have a great week!
Love, Maria |
