Cosmic Connections Convension

Here is our updated schedule for the Cosmic Connections Convention and Psychic Fun Fair. I am giving away free scholarships for StarScopers to attend the Saturday and Sunday sessions at no charge. (See below for details) The conference is at the Lansing Hampton Inn off Canal Road April 9, 10, 11. If you do not wish to attend the conference, the psychic fun fair will still be going on with around 20 psychics from all over the country and Canada. Admission is $5 and readings are $10.The hours for the fair are as follows…

Dear Maria - I just got my moldavite necklace I ordered from your website store! I love it. It is so pretty but it is also very powerful. I could feel the energy right away and knew it was meant to help me make the changes in life that I so desperately need to. I have been feeling stuck in all areas of my life. I have been in a bad relationship for two years. My boyfriend is up and down; unemployed, depressed, always complaining about something, and won't let things go. The Cardinal Climax — Death and Resurrection

This article may perhaps be the most important one I have ever written on astrology. Please forward to your friends and family, as what I have to write about, will affect us on a societal level as well as a personal one.

The years 2009 through 2012 will be the most challenging and stressful period of our century. What is happening astrologically during this period will change the world as we know it, change our lives as we live them and indeed change our world history.

The planetary configuration we will be facing is so very powerful that I have never seen anything like it my lifetime. Many of you reading this have not and probably will never again.

It is made up of three life altering planets; Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. Each is visiting a zodiac sign during this aspect called the Cardinal Climax. Saturn (restrictions, challenges, karma) is in Libra (sign of balance and relationships). Uranus (heavy change. Expect the unexpected, upheaval, drama) is moving into the fiery sign of Aries which is opposing Saturn in Libra. Restriction versus Change will battle it out over the course of the next two years. Next we have Pluto (death, regeneration, resurrection, cleansing, complete break down/rebuilding) in the sign of Capricorn, which is squaring Saturn and Uranus; making for power struggles and reform within our country, our government and other countries, etc.

Because Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are slow moving planets, meaning they take years to complete their visit, they will create major overhaul in our lives. The Cardinal Climax aspect means these three planets will oppose or square each other until 2012 and this is what we call an aspect. The reason is it called a Cardinal Climax is because the signs affected the most are Cardinal Signs; not fixed ones.

Who and what's most affected? The cardinal signs or the areas of your astro chart where you have the cardinal signs/house cusps located. Everyone has them somewhere! These are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Uranus and Saturn are squaring Cancer while Pluto is opposing it. Squares bring problems and challenges because of other people and situations beyond your control. Oppositions are just that.

Those four signs should be prepared for the greatest challenges and changes these next few years. Make no mistake; they will be the most profound of their lives. Change is not always easy and because of the planets involved, the next few years are hard for the cardinal signs.

There are three major changes associated with this aspect that affect all of us, no matter what sign you are. One of them are personal relationships breakups; such as divorce. We are already seeing this with Aries Jesse James and fellow Ram Kate Gosselin, divorcing their mates. Capricorn Tiger Woods and his Capricorn wife are in the mix. Libra Susan Sarandon also spilt from her long-term relationship. The other areas that will dramatically change are home/family and career.

Death of the old way of life should be expected, followed by a rebirth when the Cardinal Climax is over in 2012. Many of us will be forced to let go of life long treasures and things they've invested in. This is evident in people losing their homes to foreclosures. The planet Pluto doesn't give us a choice. But it does reward us with resurrection and a better life when this cycle is over.

The birthdays that will be most affected are as follows

March 21-March 30, June 22-July 1, September 23-October 2, December 22-January 1. This is because those birthdays (astrological sun sign degrees) are the most impacted by the combination of Saturn/Uranus and Pluto. But remember, what I write, all of us will be impacted wherever we have the cardinal signs in our chart.

The Cardinal Climax has been building gradually over a period of time. It's not as if we have not had warning. The first signs of the changes were felt by many of us the last half of 2008. Think back to what was happening in your life then. What changes was the universe pushing you to make? My friend loved her home but it went into foreclosure in 2008 because there wasn't enough money from her business to make the house payment. She was devastated when she was forced to move and cried for weeks. She eventually grew to love the new area plus her business has tripled, creating a better quality of life for her family. She fought the change and then when she accepted it, good fortune came her way.

Who showed up in your life, opening a new path for you in 2008? Did a new relationship appear? Were you to let go of an old one so you could go off in a new direction with a new partner? Was your job in jeopardy? Could you see the writing on the wall, that it was time to change careers? Whatever was introduced then especially from May 2008 through December 2008, was part of the new path that you were to follow. Even if you questioned that path or didn't want to go down it, you must remember, Pluto forces you to let go and promises a better situation once you do. It transforms the old into the new. If you fought the change or are fighting it, you are only hanging onto a belief system or an old way of life, that is no longer valid and probably no longer exists. Let go and accept the new path.

That's also when the first real signs of the real estate market decline started to show too. In 2009, the impact for us was a little stronger. Many of the Capricorns, Cancers, Libra and Aries were having troubles and frustrations last year. Now, as the climax continues to build, many of you will feel as if you are in a personal pressure cooker. The climax will reach its peak this summer. In 2011, you will get the aftershock. You will feel as if a hurricane has already hit and you're cleaning up the aftermath; still trying to deal with what the heck happened. The impact will begin to lose its momentum slowly and by 2012, the pressure will be released. We will probably remember this time as one, if not, the most important period in our lives. It will be so powerful and life altering that we will be forced to redefine who we are and what our life is about. The Cardinal Climax has been called a "redefinition" of our lives.

Time Periods

The Cardinal Climax will begin its peak on May 22, 2010 when Saturn and Jupiter oppose each other. On May 27, 2010, Uranus moves into Aries and so does Jupiter on June 5, 2010. Jupiter and Uranus will conjunct (meet each other head on) and this will bring the process of realigning our economy to a head. The energy will intensify when Saturn opposes Uranus, July 30, 2010 and then conjunct Saturn the following day, opposing Jupiter August 3, 2010 and squaring Pluto at the same time. This will bring repressed and buried anger/challenges to the surface. Expect things to be out of control on the global front. On August 16, 2010, Jupiter opposes Saturn, and Uranus squares Pluto.

Astrologically, get prepared for one set of problems after another. If you are an empath, you will feel the energy that is vibrating all over the country, and throughout the world. Protect yourself energetically as best you can.

Now get this, we have a lunar eclipse also this summer, June 26, 2010 and a solar eclipse on July 11, 2010. Eclipses are like wild cards. They bring in crazy change and cause upheavals. The eclipses are in the sign of Cancer and Capricorn. If you have a birthday on or within a day of either side of the eclipse, expect the year ahead to be even more life altering. My birthday is June 27th. Babies born around this date this summer will have a special purpose to on the earth plane. I expect them to be highly sensitive and psychic.

The intensity of this cardinal Climax and the eclipse energies will create intensity within each of us and globally between many countries. We will be asked to make major decisions personally and our government will be asked to make huge decisions too that will affect our standing in the world. I wonder if President Obama should get his astrology chart read soon! Karma will balance the score of greed, monopolies, poor choices and such.

It is good to remember that on a personal level, the choices you make should be positive ones for your highest good and that of others. Many of you will be pushed and shoved onto your destined path. We have talked about this before in my newsletters and on my lecture trail. Old habits and thoughts that do you no good will be replaced. You will be forced to think differently. It is best NOT to be so attached to something or someone that you cannot release them during this period. For those of you who hang on to the past too tightly, this will be a very challenging time of crisis. By the past, I am writing of your life and perhaps the people/situations you knew before this period began in 2008.

Let go and let God during these periods. There is no use in fighting the evitable. What you resist, persists. It is time to think differently than you have in the past. You are being called to make different choices, act in a new manner and make decisions that are fresh, new and open to a path the universe is trying to take you down. Down the road, years from now, you will probably look back on this period in your life and understand why these changes had to occur. I am a believer that everything happens for a reason and the result is always for our greater good, even if we don't realize it at the time of the crisis. Patience will be the key. Allow God to work through you and for you. You may want to go back to your old life, old relationship or old ways of doing things because they were safe or comfortable, but your personal cosmic plan is not meant to take you back to the past, only to the future.

There cannot be rainbows without rain. From the crazy mess you may find yourself in, will come an opportunity to create a new and more fulfilling life than you could ever imagine. You must trust God even if your new path doesn't seem logical, at the time; and even if it is painful in some way.

Your perception of the change is so important. You can either look at the changes as opportunities or problems. You may feel as if you are losing something; like your house due to a foreclosure or your job due to cutbacks or a relationship because it has run its course. The next chapter of your life is still being written. Wait for it to unfold before you try to get to the end of the story. You could be amazed at the journey.

There is so much happening in our world too during this period. In fact, as we have seen it, it the Cardinal Climax energy is already with us. When it peaks, we will see more job losses, banks in real trouble, challenges to the United States from other countries, which could result in a loss of power for our country.

The last five years I have been warning people through this newsletter and in my lectures to be wary of the investments they are making. I predicted then, that pensions would be cut, health insurance would be reformed and the housing market would change drastically. It is very likely we will fall into a period much like our grandparents and great grandparents did in the Great Depression. In fact, these astrological aspects mirror the ones back then. The middle class may be wiped out due to job loss. Even though many economists are saying we are on the rebound, I beg to differ.

But before I go any further with my words that seem to be mere doom and gloom, let me say I will also address the wonderful and beautiful outcome of these times. There will be a happy ending. I just want to soften the blow and get prepared for what's coming. My motto is forewarned is forearmed.

These are some more of the changes I am predicting for our country during the Cardinal Climax; you will not be able to get all of your money out of the bank if you choose to at one time. Credit card issuers will start cutting off card-carrying members for no reason. Many banks will fail. My local branch is now closed. Millions more people will be in the unemployment lines; many of them middle class/professional workers. People will walk away from their upside down houses and home sales will continue to plummet. People will not be able to get loans, thus creating more problems because no one will be able to buy real estate even if homes are at rock bottom prices.

July and August 2010, is the period that is most taxing on our country and on a personal level. The pressures and stress from job loss, financial crisis and such will have an affect on families and relationships. There will be a domino effect and it has already started. I received a note from a lady saying she was losing her house this month. She was angry at her husband for losing his job so they were forced to move after 20 years in their home. She wanted a divorce because the anger was seething.

Ok, so that's just some of the stuff I am predicting could happen over the course of the next two years. So how you do get through this on a personal level and not allow it to ruin your life?

I would strongly suggest you get with your astrologer or me and book a reading as to find out, in depth, how the Cardinal Cross will affect you so you can prepare yourself. If you get a reading with an astrologer, ask how specifically, in what areas you will be affected. There are many people out there who claim to be astrologers who have just studied the signs and know nothing about transits. I worked at a radio station where there was a woman who claimed she was an astrologer and even wrote a book about it but when I asked her about the upcoming transits at the time and started to talk astrology jargon, she looked at me and said I am not an astrologer like you. I read spiritually from astrology. Whew! Please make sure the astrologer is for real and just doesn't have a few signs memorized! This is important stuff here; life-altering changes will occur and you want to be ready.

Trust your intuition. If you have a strong calling to relocate to another part of the country, then do it. Make decisions based on your higher good and those around you. This is a period in which choices should be made for the greater good of society, not for individual greed. This is why greed-based businesses, and banks are failing. Remember the cosmic scale is being balanced now.

Work from a place of peace, love and understanding in your relationships. Be patient and kind to your mate. Come from a place of unconditional love rather than an ego base.

Don't be scared to start all over. This is a big one, especially for the fixed signs like Scorpio and Taurus who do not like change unless they are in control. You will be out of control during this period. Your life will seem to be out of control. So give in and start anew. Move, change career paths, let the house go if need be, etc. Change your perception from fear based to enthusiastic and accepting.

Lie low this summer. Don't take risks, start arguments, or let your emotions get the best of you. Steer clear of dangerous areas and risky business. If anyone new enters your life in July or August, get to know him or her before you allow them to get too close to you. Look at the news but don't be ruled or obsessed by it. You will hear of crisis and tragic events unfolding during the times I mentioned earlier. Don't allow yourself to get so wrapped up in what the media reports that it psychologically messes with your head.

Save some cash and don't throw good money after bad. Steer clear of losing propositions and don't get in over your head financially. Don't take on huge payments or loans, as you may not be able to afford them later.

Our society's thoughts and actions have basically got us to this point. Karma is now coming into restore what is out of balance. That's why the businesses who operated on greed and not for the highest good of all, are failing now. Our financial and political systems will be forced to change because they cannot be sustained any longer. The dollar may fall rapidly this summer. I have been telling many people to buy gold as an investment. Since I have made that suggestion, gold has doubled in price. As the dollar drops, gold will go up. We may be forced to change to a new currency and financial system.

The Happy Ending

First of all, the good news is that this aspect doesn't last for years on end. It is basically over in 2012. Again, we will experience the peak this summer. This Cardinal Climax is hitting me wildly. I must admit I am intimidated, curious and yes, a little scared. But I also know this is where my faith comes in. This is where I have to trust God that whatever happens, happens for a higher reason and everything will work out in the end. I need to practice what I preach. I will be tested and I want to be ready. When the cosmic scale is finally balanced, we will end up with a sustainable economy for our children and our children's children. People will be able to afford a home and live comfortably because the prices will be in accordance with their income. There will be sacrifices now from some people so others can gain later. Some of us may go without for a little while, so down the road, more people can benefit.

You will be forced onto your destined path and live a more fulfilling life. That destined path may take you to Malibu California where you land the job of your dreams. You may never have moved from your failing farm in Muskegon Michigan unless you have to. This may be the only way to get you on your path; by cosmic force. LOL!

Know that the end result is a better life. Fate may have had you leave one relationship only to have you come face to face with your soul mate. Don't fight it. Remember, career, personal lives and family life are changing the most during this aspect. On a personal level, everyone will experience at least one major change.

On a global level, the energy is working to stop the direction we are headed in before we destroy the earth and each other. This has to happen. It is happening now and we are a part of the plan.

The collective consciousness is needed more than ever. Your perception of life and what is happening needs to stay positive and accepting. Don't fight the change. It's going to happen anyway. Love one another. Love yourself. Love your fellow man. Together, as a collective consciousness we can change the world for the better.

Prepare your mind and your spirit for this summer. Don't look at the coming events as problems but as opportunities. For every negative there is a positive. Look at things from that perspective. My fellow Cancer friends out there, you need to nurture and mother other people who are going through the times ahead. Show them how to see the positive. When we serve others, we sometimes forget our own crisis because we are focused on others. Aries, you need to come up with fresh new ideas that give hope to all of mankind and are for the greater good. Libra, you are here to bring balance and find peace among the chaos for us. Capricorn, you are here to organize and follow through on changes that are made and help others on the path see a light at the end of the tunnel. Helping people to make the transition from the past to the present is part of your job.

We are all part of the process, no matter what sign. We are creating a new world, one that will be better for us and for generations to come. That's why the decisions we make now must be for the greater good of all of society not just a select group. You can do more than you think to create positive change. Sometimes just by changing your thoughts, your attitudes and your words are enough. Because thoughts are energy, they create a vibrational frequency.

Think positive and positive things will come to you. Prayer and meditate. My boyfriend Joe is a pretty smart Sagittarius, who told me the other day, "Praying is speaking to God. Meditating is listening to God. Listen. You'll find more answers than you could ever imagine when you allow God to speak to and through you. Just listen". I immediately did so and this is why you are reading this article today!
