Dear Maria – I ordered the Onyx egg you had on your summer sale and wanted to tell you that it has changed the energy in my house to a much more peaceful and positive atmosphere. I wish I would have found this piece sooner because it has made such a difference in environment. I believe you when you say the gemstones have a healing energy. I put the onyx in the middle of the coffee table in the family room. It looks like an art piece so no one thought it was peculiar or anything. Within a day or two, the air was lighter in the room and whenever we were in the family room, the mood was lighter and no one argued or complained. I tested this to see if it was just coincidence or not. When my family was in the kitchen, arguments arose so I moved the egg into the kitchen for a day or two and no one did any complaining there but did when they reached the family room. I did not tell anyone what I was doing. I know to some reading this, it may seem silly but I tested this theory for about two weeks off and on. You told us in a class that when it came to the agate stones, people felt compelled to the tell the truth if an agate was in the room or someone was wearing it. They couldn't lie. Then you told us, the onyx would help control bickering, complaining, etc and make people feel more grounded. I believe it now for sure! Dear Sharon; we have the onxy pillars too a d a few more of the eggs left. I am glad they are working for you and your family. It is great to hear confirmation that these work for other people too. I have heard from a lot of people that using the onxy works wonders. However, onxy eventually will stop working if you do not cleanse the stone. It draws the negative energy and deflects it away from you so eventually it gets "gunked up." Make sure you cleanse the stone every three weeks or so. It does help get rid of negativity. I had one lady buy it and put it on your side porch facing her bad neighbors. There was so much negativity coming from that side of the fence that she could feel the bad vibes. Once she got the onxy, she said she felt better and was not bothered.

Loves revolution - Welcome to Earth

And here I am back where it all began; A lone beautiful soul who turned his darkness into light. Against the vast hills of my mind I am startled by these new emotions in my heart. I am ready to touch the Earth with bare feet and explore what I had left behind.

The clouds are bunched up in the skies singing onto the world with a light mist which falls sideways. I decide to go out for a walk before it comes down in a chorus. I am eager to find the Great mystery. I want to see everything infused with the unspeakable dimension of mystery.

I am smiling, walking and looking but I don't see singing birds, no feeders and not a lot of trees. I notice two dogs running freely without collars and the sadness in a woman's eyes. A few more blocks and I see a child holding a butterfly net with no butterflies in it. I see dirt without grass, couples walking but not speaking and others without insomuch as holding hands. I see mostly concrete, sadness and exhaustion. A strange restlessness begins to stir in the pits of my stomach. Where is the Kingdom of Hearts?

I go forward not feeling the same way I did before I set out. I begin to contemplate, what can I do to help the world see with new eyes, feel with a new heart, taste with a new mouth and listen with different ears. I wish to see love magnified but what I encounter is its hunger.

I am almost back home when something grasps my attention. I see an elder woman watering the weeds on the side of her mailbox. I must admit they look unique, a Venus flytrap designed with odd shape leaves that tilt over to the sides. She appears to be unaware that most people intently set out to remove them, not feed them. Her husband comes out with a tin watering can and finishes where she left off. Somehow they are looking through the small cracks of sadness that seem to seep through into this world.

As I watch them, I see something I believe to be strange at first. She bends down and pats the leaves then rubs her fingers over them. Then both husband and wife, perhaps married for years go hand in hand back inside. Their hearts are singing and mine begins to do the same. I realize in that moment how deep beauty feeds the soul no matter what it looks like. The problem is that not enough souls now how to find their own beauty.

How important do you think it is to create in the sadness a route to beauty, to joy; to smiles? How important do you think it is for you to wake up and thank your breath, to live with joy, to serve others because physical life does not play favorites. This world or rather the souls that make this world are sad and we are all seeking the way to be happy if it's just for an extra five minutes. We look for it outside of ourselves but this world will remain the same until you can see what the elder couple is able to see...inside themselves.

Now the mist has turned into a drizzle. In a few minutes fat drops will fall on this Earth and it will be happy. I just wonder what it will take to make the souls who live in it…just as happy.

Summer Solstice

June 21st is our summer solstice when the sun moves into the sign of Cancer. I remember every year, my dad who was a farmer, also told me, "This is the longest day of the year and after today, the days will be growing shorter."

At the beginning of each season, we astrologically find out what that season holds in store by doing a chart at the moment the sun moves into the new sign.

The chart for the summer 2010 produces some challenges, partly due to the crazy eclipses we have June 26th and also July 11. The Cancer sun stands for home and family as well as our feeling of security and the past. However this summer will be anything but secure because of the crazy energies we will experience. Two of my banks have already closed or merged. More and more of my clients around the country are in major transitions. I hear from folks everyday about the rug being pulled out from under them.

This Solstice chart shows the Sun oppose Pluto, with Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus all square to the Sun. In astrology, we call this configuration a Grand Square. Challenges and power struggles are all around. You can no longer sit back and wait for things to happen. You can no longer fence sit on an issue. It's all or nothing. You have to make choices this summer; like it or not.

For many months and for some of you, many years, you played it safe and waited for the universe or fate to make decisions for you. You avoided doing things to avoid disapproval or arguments. Time's up!

The only choice this summer is change. Things will not be the same. There is no past to go back to. You can't go back to a job that is no longer or an industry that is dying. You can't go back to a relationship that has run its course.

The good news is that somewhere deep inside you; you are ready for the changes that are occurring. You just have to say yes and forge ahead! Don't be scared. Yes, there may be some confrontations and challenges from others. Yes, the road may seem rocky or even foreign. But it's supposed to.

The summer of 2010 is the start of a seven year cycle of huge change on a a national and personal level.

These changes and intense energies increase with the Lunar Eclipse on June 26th and then in late July, they get almost unbearable. I know many of you are feeling this already. They could be personal internal changes or external changes but most will involve a power struggle between the past and the present; an old way of life and a new one. You could meet with resistance from others who want to stop you from living your truth. But you have to keep moving forward!

The end result is living your truth and finding happiness you have been seeking. There can't be rainbows without rain. It's okay to cry as you let the past go, but be sure to dry those tears and eradicate those fears so you can be open to what's at the end of the rainbow!
