Mercury Retrograde is Over!!! Slowly move plans ahead. I have more astro news for you a little further down in this newsletter on this spectacular period for romance and new love. The planet Saturn went back into the sign of Libra from Virgo this summer. Our guest speaker at the Cosmic Connections Convention, Patty Kamson from Los Angeles wrote this article on how to explain what Saturn in Libra means for all of the signs. Saturn is known as the taskmaster of the zodiac. The strong and complex planetary energy of Saturn helps to teach life's tough lessons. Saturn also represents many other areas of life such as, career, business, limitation, parents, time, authority, responsibility, tradition, discipline and karma. Saturn is now in Libra and Libra represents diplomacy, marriage, relationships (business & pleasure), known enemies, balance, and beauty and to some extent legal matters and justice. Wherever Saturn is in you chart is where you will learn the most and have the most development over the course of its transit. The affects of Saturn in the angular houses (1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses) can garner more of a public reaction and response. With Saturn in the other houses the affects aren't always so public but the lessons are just as powerful.

Challenging aspects of Saturn can bring isolation, burdens, consequences and responsibilities to the forefront. Examples of this manifestation include British Petroleum, an Aries company, Barbara Walters a Libra journalist dealing with a heart ailment, Marie Osmond dealing with her son's suicide and Michael Douglas a Libra actor dealing with throat cancer and son's legal problems. Saturn can bring about rewards for a job well done, recognition, longevity and stability as well. Examples of this manifestation include Hilary Duff a Libra gets married, Celine Dion an Aries is pregnant with twins, Kelly Preston a Libra is pregnant, Mariah Carey an Aries is pregnant, and Simon Cowell a Libra receiving much acclaim for his work and getting married. For the past two and half years Saturn has been in Virgo. Having Saturn in Virgo has powerfully affected people with strong Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius planetary placements. Saturn is now in Libra from July 21st until October 5, 2012 and with Saturn in Libra, we will all at some level be learning lessons about relationships, diplomacy and decision-making.

Thank you so much for reading me yesterday, I know you were done for the day so I felt honored that you took the time to see me.

Everything you said made so much sense and it's weird how I have to hear it from time to time to understand that everything is working the way it should and to be grateful for what I have. Hi Maria,

I met you briefly at the Mpls fair a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for helping me pick out my stones for my prosperity pouch, but this last week I either lost the pouch or someone took it from my desk at work. I also purchased the stone necklace - the moldavite one and have been wearing that daily along with a tiger-eye bracelet for grounding. I'm starting to look for a new job. I just had my 23rd anniversary at my current job and need a change. As you can imagine, this is a very big deal for me. I so much appreciated the fair, the energy of everyone there, along with the readings I had, and the information you shared on stones and horoscopes. I've been working on opening my heart and my spiritual journey and I'm very thankful when I find events and people that help me embrace my expansion of being.

WEIGHT LOSS MEDITATION WORKED!!!!

Maria- I brought the relaxation for weight loss meditation CD at your Minnesota fair. Since I have been listening to it every night before I go to sleep, I have lost 14 pounds. 8 pounds the first week and six the second. Now it is slowing down and only about 2 pounds this week so far. Should I listen to it more often now? I am also interested in the CD to help you sleep. I didn't buy it then when I seen it at the fair but would like to see if there are any copies left. Hi Mary – You don't need to listen to the weight loss CD more often. Your body will naturally slow down the weight loss after an initial larger decrease. You lost a lot of weight in a very short amount of time. That is rare because most people only lose 3 to 5 pounds per week using the CD. Some of that could be water weight too so if you are losing 2 pounds per week, you are doing well. I wouldn't worry about it. You are doing exceptional. I would suggest to anyone who had the CD or may be purchasing it from us, that you could use it when you are tempted to eat late at night or if you feel like binge eating. It will help you relax. The producers of the CD also suggest you play it while you are eating so you won't overeat. I only have five of the CDs left that help you sleep. This is the perfect time for relationships! Finally, some good aspects for love and business partnerships are within our grasp. Positive times are within one day or on September 14th, within one day or on October 3rd and we are still experiencing this positive energy through mid October.

If you have recently started a new relationship; whether business or romantic, the next few weeks are good for expanding it. However, Venus will be retrograde this fall and some of these aspects play games with us too.

What's likely to happen in a romantic situation is you'll meet someone and there is a lot of over thinking and rethinking the relationship. There could even be a few break ups during the Venus retrograde. But then this is followed by a make up period and the chase begins again. Then next summer, the relationship is solidified with everyone on the same page. A deeper commitment is made when Venus moves into the steady sign of Taurus. I am predicting lots of engagements and weddings when Jupiter and Venus are in Taurus next year.

For those of you who are just meeting people this fall, allow yourself time to get to know this new person in your life. Develop the friendship first. Lay a strong foundation. Don't jump into a sexual relationship on the first few dates. Allow a new relationship some time to develop and grow.

Also, you may be getting out of one relationship during this period. Allow yourself time to break free from the old union before starting the new one or you could lose both. If you develop a new relationship slowly and steadily over the course of the next 8-10 months, and allow love to grow, you could be headed for a wonderful commitment next summer or onward.
