Welcome back to our Psychic Fun Fairs, intuitive reader Charly.....Charly has been gone from the fairs because she moved to Europe but she is back in the states now and will be in Lapeer, Port Huron, Saginaw and Midland this month. Thanks sooooooooooooooo much for getting me an appointment with Joe Lawson within twenty-four hours. I was on the brink of a break down! Seriously, truly depressed! Joe's reading was more like a therapy session. He hit home on my mother and why she was so abusive to me for years. He told me about myself in a nice way. He told me why I'm left out, run over and knocked down. Then he told me what to do, "LEAVE THEM ALONE!" I knew I needed too, but, needed to hear it from someone else. Best of all he told me that I would have a new love coming in after my birthday. Now, I just need to get the courage to hit up a dating site. LOL

I just started listening to you with skepticism however I am becoming a believer.

The retrograde threw my husband and I for loop. We had worked very hard last weekend to lay down 700 pavers but halfway through the project we ran out of pavers (my husband estimated wrong, obviously). Of course when we went to purchase another pallet of pavers we discovered they no longer had that color. So we had to purchase a different paver, tear up what we had already put down and REDO the whole thing. I hate retrograde.

Loves Evolution, Chapter 4 - Ego and Emotion

It feels good to be back. I feel somehow torn away to those I have longed for in my heart but here I am and now it is time to start talking about this great love we have, married and living in a small room. There we help each other to cook, to wash and care for our beautiful world. We have labored long enough and it is I who has suffered being apart from you. So this is my song the one I must sing, the extraordinary existence called Love.

These past few weeks have been a challenge in practicing what I must do. I continue to stumble over the negative energy that is overwhelming this world. Now I wonder what rock I have been under not to have realized how sad we all are? My heart is overcrowded with the emotions of confusion and chaos but here I am, today, right now because the healing my heart is asking for is the kind that reaches out and gently embraces every single person in my world whispering;

"It will be okay."

Last evening in a restaurant I sat watching people waiting for their food staring at their drinks or the small tiles on the table in silence. There was no conversation or eye contact but it was midway through the silence that I realized that their interaction was a clash of ‘his’ Ego and ‘her’ Emotions. Inside their bubble, sadness protected them or rather kept them in and a world of wonder out. In their bubble I too once lived, in their bubble I sometimes find my Ego pulling me in with all its strength.

Egos and Emotions.

I stared out the window of the restaurant to study my own reflection. Who is this person staring back at me? This person is filled with ideas and self inspired thoughts, words that can change a person’s structure, a person that is opening his heart to thousands of readers and is not afraid of what they might say. But I see that my own fullness has undermined my own ability to realize that the path to an awakened life is confronting both, the Ego and the Emotions in front of an entire world. For man one must confront his Ego and its fears. For a woman it is her Emotions and fears. But when we untie both male and female aspects of our totality we ready ourselves for a path, if one is truly willing to walk it, to confront both Ego and Emotions inside ourselves.

A space for spirituality, awareness or change must be created within the host. You must become the Vessel. You must create an emptiness inside of you that will hold what I call "beautiful nothingness." It doesn’t mean you give up everything in your life, it simply means you surrender the Ego and Emotions and walk the path you and I were destined for. To walk a path that plunges you deeper into your heart.

I am compelled as I continue to heal beautiful souls I am meeting, because I know that it will uncover my own hidden consciousness.

I have discovered as I continue to empty myself I am somehow making myself more available for what matters. I wish to make myself available to those who cannot cry anymore because there are no more tears left. I want to make myself available because I have missed all of you. I understand how good life is at presenting opportunities to practice everything I am writing and that is why I write it. The time apart has helped me to empty myself further, to observe and study the Ego and the Emotions. I have stepped back because I am willing to step forward and into your heart as you have entered into mine.

I hope to meet some of you very soon and together we can talk, we can cry, we can hug but most significantly we can Love…enough…to change…our life.

Reaching Your Goals; a Moment in Time

Some dreams die as we grow a year older. The dreams and goals we’ve had as a child, we may outgrow. But others seem to linger throughout a lifetime; sometimes more potent at times than during other periods.

In order to begin the process of reaching a goal or achieving a dream, you have to be very certain what it is. In other words, very specific as to what you wish for. You could say I want a great job in radio. And yes, you could get a great job in a town you wouldn’t want to live in and the pay is horrible. But if you stated, I want a great job in Fort Lauderdale Florida and I want to make $45K a year doing afternoon drive; this would be more specific. Your second step to the process is probably even more important; it’s maintaining a positive expectation of your goal. In order words, you must believe you will achieve it. When you release the positive attitude and thought out into the universe, that energy (thoughts are energy) is released, received and channeled back to you in a positive way.

When I was 19 years old, I went down to the local television station, asked for a news reporting job and told the news director I wanted $5 an hour. Minimum wage was $3.35 at that time. Call it naive or just positive thinking, but I was hired on the spot, given the money I asked for and anchored the morning news and did reporting for the 6p.m. newscast. All this without a college degree yet.

Joe Lawson was a little older than me when he did the same thing. He walked into CBS Radio in a major market and asked for a job. He was immediately hired, without any radio experience and was quickly promoted up the ranks because he excelled quickly. Eventually, he became the executive producer of my daily talk show. Did he not know any better? No one gets a job in a major market until they work smaller markets and earn their dues. He probably didn’t know any better and good thing he didn’t. But he believed he could get a job there, went right in and asked. The universe, the manager, etc. felt his positive energy, received it and returned it back in the positive of way!

Many of us start out on a journey with positive thoughts, just knowing in our hearts and souls, these are the things for us and there’s no way we can fail. But sometimes we do and often times it is because fear or doubt set in, if things do not happen quickly enough or someone else smashes our positive outlook with a negative one. Doubt creates more doubt. What we send out, we get back. Even a glimmer or doubt or fear that we won’t succeed hinders the process and sometimes stops it right in its tracks.

I remember interviewing country star Randy Travis after his first hit single "1982" hit the airwaves. He sat in my office in Nashville and told the story of how every record label on Music Row turned him down twice. Then he held a showcase and Warner Brothers liked what they heard and signed him. What if he has just given up before that showcase?

Are you a person who believes things will always work out in a positive way? Or do you feel, that things never work out for you and expect the worst so you can’t be disappointed?

No matter how difficult it may be to take the first step toward your dream or goal, it has to be taken or nothing will ever happen. You can think and dream all you want but you must take action; even if it is a small step.

Our lives are defined by the moments we live. Every experience we have leads us to another one and yet another. The big picture didn’t just develop one day like a Polaroid photo. It is made up of many moments/experiences over the course of our life. Think about what you can realistically do right now, in the moment, to move forward in your life and toward fulfilling a dream. Maybe it would be walking into an office you’d love to work at and apply for a job. Maybe it would be writing the first few lines of a best selling book. You never know what a difference a moment can make in your life or someone else’s.
