We just made it back from New York City over the weekend and beat the storm! Now we are headed to Minneapolis for our big psychic fun fair this weekend at the Radisson Roseville. These winter storms keep following us!

A way to fight colds and flu naturally: Essential oils

Massage therapist Marisa Hubinger of Sterling Heights views the bulk of the holistic community with a critical eye.
"I kind of see most of these 'holistic' types as 'snake oil salesmen'; they make a lot of promises they can't keep," Hubinger said.
So when essential oil expert Jennifer Vasich suggested treating Hubinger's erupting flu symptoms with a souped-up foot massage, Hubinger nodded her head, rolled her eyes — and thought: "Oh, yeah, crazy person, whatever!"
The pair met at a workshop Vasich offered at Hubinger's former place of employment. After briefly rubbing a few drops of the do TERRA blend "On Guard" into the soles of Hubinger's feet, Vasich told her: "You'll feel better by tonight."
"Not tomorrow morning, not in three days, tonight," Hubinger recalled.
The message was particularly poignant because Hubinger was so achy and feverish she literally dragged herself to the workshop and she had plans the next day for a party she and her friends had been arranging all year.
"I went home, took a nap and when I woke up my throat didn't hurt anymore," Hubinger said. By the next day, it was like she had never been sick.
"And there were no weird side effects, like dry mouth, or hazy head, like when you take cold medicine," Hubinger said. "All I felt was better."
Vasich said she's been receiving similarly positive reports from friends and clients throughout the cold and flu season.
"Essential oils penetrate at the cellular level, unlike antibiotics which are unable to penetrate the cell wall and kill the virus," Vasich said. "My goal is to empower families with natural and effective ways to stay healthy."
In most cases, the oils can be administered topically, aromatically, such as with a diffuser, or ingested internally.
So far this cold and flu season, she's managed to keep her family from developing illnesses that the people around them, at school, work and church, have been coming down with, like strep and basic flu.
A few weeks ago, for example, Vasich was awakened at about 2 a.m. by her 7-year-old daughter Naomi's barking cough. She gently massaged a few drops of On Guard into her feet, and by morning the cough was gone.
When her husband, Michael, was attacked by dozens of wasps after accidentally nicking a nest with his lawnmower last summer, Vasich doused the bites with the essential oil blend, Purify, and within five minutes, swelling to his ankles and hands started to subside and his throat began opening.
"He didn't tell me he couldn't breathe, he didn't want to scare me, but had I known, I would have called 911," said Vasich, a massage therapist who has studied essential oils. "As it was, his body ached for two weeks."
Becki Robinson of Romeo uses lavender essential oil on her puppy's snout to calm him, the On Guard blend to chase away the first symptoms of cold, flu and fever in her daughters ages 6, 12 and 17 years, and Meleluca to eliminate a stubborn fungal infection that attacked her underarms.
"We don't have health insurance," Robinson said. "And I don't have a lot of faith in a lot traditional medicine anyway. So anything I can do to keep my family healthy in a natural way, I'm all for."
Vasich offers the following "recipe" to cleanse, boost and balance the immune system:
The juice of one organic lemon
1 to 2 teaspoons organic raw honey
2 drops of On-Guard essential oil
12 to 16 ounces hot water
Mix ingredients in a hot beverage mug and enjoy.
She also provides the following time-tested tips to strengthen the body's immune system and reduce the risk of developing colds and flu:
Diet: Eat as much unprocessed (and preferably organic) food as possible. Try to stay away from junk food and sugary snacks.
Drink plenty of water each day.
Exercise regularly.
Get plenty of sleep.
Wash your hands often, and keep your hands away from your nose and mouth as much as possible.
Reduce your stress levels; stay positive.

Loves Evolution: The Abyss of Destiny

This week's message colored itself into my thoughts after a meditation. I sense the need to share it with you. I wish to thank everyone who has sent me questions on multiple topics. Please continue to send me questions as I draw near to the podcast SpiritNerds.
I have taken time out to travel to Minnesota in the mysterious month of February. I will be speaking at Maria Shaw's Minneapolis Cosmic Connections Convention & Psychic Fun Fair in Roseville MN, Radisson next week February 26th at 10:30am. In addition I will be giving private readings. I hope to see you there.
Life moves in the invisible realm of our consciousness. I always figured that once I studied the path of that the pilgrimage of life would be easy and its secrets given, but as the lute strings against my heart I found that it only becomes more challenging. After a taxing day I decided to sit in my office and visit another world. What and where I went can't be described but I found out why the path can be so heavy at times. The abyss of our life is the unknowing. It was the part in my life that held hope hostage because I was uncertain of its outcome. When I asked the moon what is life supposed to mean she responded;
Destiny
Destiny is a thousand pieces of happiness or depression. What is destiny? It is the part the soul plays in its Karmic lesson.
Through mediation I was instructed to find the equation of Destiny. I came up with two factors.
Density: Here the word instructs the state or quality of weight; compactness; closely set in or about what has to be done or crowded condition.
Creation: The act of producing or causing to exist; the act of creating or bringing into existence something of originality by the god within.
Let me explain how my spirit guides, Cobb and Proearie, illustrated it.
Destiny is what you are destined to do in your life, but that is also what guides you towards the music you hear. When we are not in the circle of our music we fall into the abyss knowing there is something deeper to life but not sure what. If destiny is the song purpose is the dance. Both words are here already but not in the sublime form we may imagine. Because destiny is already pre-programmed into our awareness it becomes a part we cannot escape. Destiny is here so that we can heal a part of our karma.
Destiny is a pre-programmed instructional booklet of our Karmic dept. It's energy pushes us to heal our past through our soul group and our soul lessons. You have control of your destiny through the path of karma. You can either live with it or transform it. For example I could hold anger against my father who has been as invisible as the air I see or I can reach out to him with love and forgiveness. The choice is not pre-programmed.
So how does Density, which uses the same words as Destiny just arranged in a different order, affect our choice? When we live from the abyss, meaning the unknown we have no will to change the meadows of our soul. We do not forgive, we do not love and we do not live from a place of joy. This choice creates our emotional response to the point that can suffocate us. If I chose to live my life from this thought then my body will become heavy (dense) and the karmic lessons for this life will double, triple or quadruple depending on how many times I have tried to correct it. The burst of music will continue to be heard but your choice to ignore it will make life seem heavy and unpleasing.
Density is the choice to turn against what you or I set out to do from the very beginning.
Lastly which I need to get this in is Creation. Creation is the ability to pour our imagination into a new life. It is the magician's ingredients to creating another outcome that does not follow your destiny but creates something original. It goes beyond the outcome to the meaning.
I lived my life from the abyss of darkness. When I walked into the light it wasn't enough. I had to fully know the meaning of how it attracted me, why it transformed me and why I can hear my spirit guides now when I could not before. Creation does not have what destiny has which is guilt. Guilt is the reason we decide to either move towards or away from the choice. Creation has no guilt because it is built on the foundation of emptiness because there is nothing there to be judged. Creation is magic: it is something out of nothing. It is perfection.
I could continue going on because this is very important. I have been asked the question why more this year then all of last year. The easier we can grasp the foundation of our soul's path the easier we can respond out of creation rather than automatic.

My husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting you in person on Sunday in Mount Clemens. What a treat! You are even more beautiful in person. We will cherish the two autographed books you signed for us and hope to pass them on to our children one day.
We so enjoyed our readings with Charee who was straight forward and so on point with our lives, our children's and our future plans to move. We split up after Charee's reading and I moved on to Charlie who was fun and spunky and confirmed that I have a little girl attached to me that I was told of before. Now, if I could only find out who she is, I'd be set. LOL She warned of a pending illness that may return that I was totally aware of and she also told of wealth on its way. All of which we had been anticipating. She's good!
My husband took on Betty whom I saw as conservative, no nonsense and to the point. Because that is also my husband I encouraged him to see her. He did, and hung on to every word she told him. I purchased a large Rose Quartz and have it sitting in my east window for cleaning by day and I move it to my south west window by evening to charge it by the waxing moon which will be full tomorrow.
We left feeling as if we had been nourished properly, with the tools of the mind to press on toward our goals. Thank you for a wonderful Psychic Fair. The whole day was delightful and we still marvel at the fact we didn't meet one negative person the whole day. We are still talking about it! Can't wait for another.

This is the time in-between, the time of transition. As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos....

Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the Earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.
