We have several interesting articles today to share with you.

One is from our good friend from Chicago and wonderful astrologer, Jamie Malag. She writes about Uranus in Aries and how it affects us. Chris Castro is back with his spiritual insight as well with thoughts along the same lines. Mercury retrograde is hitting us now and until April 23rd. More on that too. I want to take this time to thank everyone who came out for the Cosmic Connections Convention in Lansing MI last weekend. It was a wonderful event with lots of highlights, especially the ghost box that Joe made, and debuted at the show. We will be doing another convention in Minneapolis in August and in Saginaw, the third weekend of October. Thanks to all of our wonderful speakers for sharing their knowledge and gifts.

Thank you so much for the reading. I had you do one for me a few years ago and was amazed by how correct it was, totally amazed. With regards to this reading, I think you again are going to be correct. I just about fell over reading about the man currently in my life. Everything you said is so true! Just wanted to take a few minutes to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And I would like to schedule a reading as soon as you have time!! I have so much to say!!! I am totally exhausted and my mind is spinning and I havent been able to quit talking for 3 days !! Whew!! How can you be so excited and so exhausted all at once? I don't even know where to start!! I also mentioned that I had a reading with Joe, and he was amazingly right on!! His reading was my spirit guides sending me a message (because I was not able to hear them screaming at me hahaha). This was more of a 'warning' reading! I really needed to hear it straight up and blunt! I am working on his advice now! It is funny how I can come in for a reading, and leave thinking, "I knew all that but it is nice to have it clarified through someone else".

Last month, we had a major astrological influence take place. It is called Uranus in Aries. This aspect will be around for many years and affect us on a global and personal level. Here is our friend's account.

The planet Uranus (ruler of the sign of Aquarius) came in with a bang on March 11, 2011. Uranus has an 84 year cycle around the zodiac staying an estimated time of 7 years in each sign. It had transited from being in nebulous Neptune (ruler of the sign of Pisces) into the "Let's go!" fiery Mars (ruler of Aries). It is much like having a hidden crevice below the sea (Neptune) where a hidden ball of fire (Mars) awaits to ignite (Uranus) and rise up above the surface for our awareness of its entry (Uranus into Aries). Uranus rules all kinds of surprises, lightning bolt thinking and energy. Uranus leaving the watery sign of Pisces into the fiery sign of Aries ignites freedom, independence, self-revolution collectively. Aquarius rules groups of people and organizations and the 11th house in an astrological chart. Aries rules the 1st house in a chart ~ "Let's go", Me - first, "Let's do it," plunge into the situation and think about it later attitude.

The large 8.9 magnitude earthquake and after-shocks in Japan was one of the occurrences of Uranus entering into Aries on the 0 degrees of the Aries point of the cardinal axis which intensifies the energy. The earthquake event led to various tsunami warnings and which tsunamis did occur. Once again the sea ruler Neptune was taking Uranus out of Pisces with an upheaval. Then came the nuclear crisis as the result of the earth's unrest and damage. Now radiation has been found in the tap water in Tokyo. The radiation leaks being of a huge concern for human, animal, and plant life from which they inter depend upon.

Uranus shift into Aries is also about revolution, demonstrations, war, fear driven anxiety, and unrest among the weary. People don't want to be told what to do and want personal freedom to exhibit their opinions and feelings. Some of these uprisings have been demonstrated in Wisconsin, the Middle East, North Africa, and Libya. We will see in an increase in these events worldwide.

Elizabeth Taylor, a Hollywood legend, has made her transition also during a Uranus into Aries cycle. In her natal astrological chart she was born during Uranus conjunct Venus in Aries. Transiting Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are all in Aries now. With Jupiter in Aries trining her natal Jupiter in Leo I am sure she went from this world peacefully.

Reflecting back in time when Uranus ventured through Aries gives us a peek of what events happened and possible future events and discoveries.

The telegraph was invented, motion picture films added sound to them, breakthroughs in new automobiles, and the Charles Lindbergh's first flight across the Atlantic. Events in the works now a possible merger between AT&T and T-Mobile. Also Netflix will be paying for the first-rights access to air a new show called "House of Cards". They will get people signing up to Netflix to get first access to content. They will get the first "window" to show it to viewers.

Also on March 17th, 2011 NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft successfully achieved orbit around the planet Mercury. Not only was Uranus in Aries but there was also a Jupiter (expansion and aspiration ) ~ Mercury (messenger and communication ) planet conjunction. Another Aries (first) engineering and scientific (Uranus) event occurred. Interestingly, that the MESSENGER accomplished this as we astrologers refer to Mercury as the messenger! www.nasa.gov

So, wow! Wonder what new inventions, scientific discoveries, or accomplishments lie ahead for us in the next 7 years. New technology stocks will emerge, perhaps new modes of communication, electric cars, new types of aircraft, and modes of transportation. Be prepared to see more changes in the world, as we know it as change is constantly occurring. Knowledge is power and brings awareness. Not all people like change, as it can be fear based. In retrospect, after we have experienced a life change through a move, job or relationship, we can view change as a catalyst for new life experiences, opportunities and growth. Perhaps trying different avenues we can look through new lenses and see possibilities of what we desire to manifest and accomplish through new and pioneering ways. How exciting to be part of a new 7 year cycle of growth, exploration, and change!
