Thriving Through Trying Times

Do you remember the first time you crossed the street alone? This occurred for me when I was going to school for the first time. In my house it was a BIG deal. I was an only child and for mother the thought of me being out of her sight and reach I am sure was quite anxiety provoking. For me, of course, it was exciting. It meant going off to territory I had only seen and heard about, and even more thrillingly, beyond that to the unknown domain I had not viewed as yet. It drew me like a magnet.

Before the actual "crossing the street independently" event could occur, I recall there was preparation. Much discussion occurred at the dinner table about how to safely execute this mission, with a fair amount of emphasis being placed on all the harm that could befall me if I did not do it correctly or carefully. STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN became my mantra!

Since then, my life has gone on, I have grown much older, and my parents have left this dimension. I realize now how vital their teaching of how to cross the street has been for me, and I still apply it to my everyday life. I now believe life is a series of "crossing the street" experiences, with our varied circumstances and choices forever leading us to new territory, across the "street" where we have never gone before. It may be to a new job, a new relationship, a new financial circumstance, a new living arrangement or location, new family constellation, and all the rest that life can create.

Now, however, my ego has experienced that going off to new territory does not always feel comfortable, it has jaded the excitement, and it greatly discourages me taking that first step, convincing me that staying in place is the very best choice to make, even if that does not feel comfortable either. But, now I know that change is inevitable, and it will not always be change as I would create it, it is change as Spirit creates it. Coming to terms with trusting Spirit more than trusting my mind has taken time, but it has proven to be true that the situations which have presented themselves through Spirit were, in retrospect, the best choices, rather than what I thought I wanted. (I call this my Cinderella step-sister mentality – Oh, I just want to make that glass slipper fit!)

So, these are trying times, indeed, with many things changing quickly for all of us. We often feel we are at a crossroads, and barely surviving through it all. I endorse that we can not only survive (which is victim-based mentality), but thrive, if we go back to our early training on how to cross the street.

STOP = Stop resisting the change. Spirit told me once, "You can let it go, have it taken from you, or have it torn asunder." Given those options, it was much easier to just let it go, whatever "it" was.

Just literally stop. Take a couple times a day and even for 10 minutes, just stop. Sit. Close your eyes. Experience your senses: hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling. Let your mind ramble on by itself, hear it down a long hall, don't talk to it or hold its hand or argue with it. Just let it run; like a toddler it will get tired and quiet down.

Stop - You don't need to do it ALL! Learn when to give something up, ask for help, and relax your standards on yourself. Progress, not perfection, as a dear friend of mine once taught me!

LOOK = Look in your life at where you are spending your energy, then look at if those areas are in balance. This assessment often comes in the form of time. Are you spending 80% of your time focusing on others through your job, 15% on your relationships, and 5% on yourself? That would be typical, but not in balance. It is true to say that each 1% you spend on yourself buys you at least twice as much energy and vitality to share. So spending 5% on yourself, only really gives you 15% to share well. The rest you spend is being drawn from your reserves, which lead to burnout, fatigue, depression, and disease of the body. So, 25% of energy spent on self is the goal. That is 25% doing things that give you joy, happiness, calmness, laughter, peace, creativity, well, you get the idea. The balance comes in changing perspective about the rest until you can spend that energy on others with joy, happiness, calmness, laughter, peace, creativity, etc.

LISTEN = Listen to your intuition, your gut feeling, your inner senses. This will not always give you a logical message. That's when the mind wants an argument. Pay attention to your feelings, not your emotions, your feelings. If your body goes tight at the thought of making a certain choice and relaxes when you think of a different choice, go with the relaxed body choice. The body will not lie to you.

Listen to your own definition of your values, your criteria for relationships, your own definition of your needs, before you go out and ask others what they think. What they think is their opinion. It is not meant to define you, but to give you an additional point of view based only on the piece of you others see from outside of you. Truly a valuable perspective, but it is not based on all of you. Only you know all of you and rarely do we spend enough time determining our definition of our selves.

STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN is also useful as a process all its own. When you are confronted with a new circumstance, you can STOP, take a break from what you have been involved in, step back, become objective, LOOK at this new circumstance carefully, and LISTEN to your reaction to this new event, listen to how your body feels about it, what your intuition tells you about it, and to yourself in how it serves you.

So, stop, look, and listen; go forth in your new reality, across the street, however it presents itself to you, and take with you this reminder: "A ship is safest in the harbor, but that's not what a ship is for ..." Author unclear

Loves Apocalypse presents Predictions Part 2

The question is what is going to happen December 21 2012? Like the blooming mind and theories no one really knows. The question then is why no one knows and that is because 'we' have not decided yet.

To bestow an answer into the pebbles of the mind with catastrophe and destruction is the most obvious answer but underneath the obvious there is a world of Galactic consciousness that ultimately controls the fate of our world. There are things that will happen because they are already happening. We are lagging behind the healing of the earth but it's not too late to heal ourselves and others.

As we near the date we will see a conscious shift. Clarity is something that is coming to many souls right now as they sit around the campfire of their dreams discussing how to manifest a fulfilling life. Chatting of the hearts has consumed our minds when we walk into a job that no longer holds our interest. As time begins to mount we will surely and finally make a stand for what we believe in without the fear of losing our job because we have already lost our soul.

But of course if we want answers all we have to do is look up into the infinite space of stars and light the same way the souls did in Atlantis or the mathematical geniuses of the Mayan civilization or the symbolic extraterrestrial Egyptians. What they had described was something science refers to as Solar Flares. Last week I sent out a message on Facebook about Solar Flares which is an eruption of energy emitted by the sun which can and usually does disrupt all energy devices; yes your cell phone and anything that uses electricity. Furthermore solar flares have a direct connection with our energy. Interesting enough there has not been a solar flare in four years, the sun has now produced two of the most powerful blast in less than one month apart, February 15th and March 9th of this year. Earthquakes anyone!

The possibility that our world will shift is not the real question, it is when. Choosing what is going to happen is something we have great control over but if you look around it would not take long to figure out how much we are falling from the heavens. Making a conscious choice is what differentiates those who have awareness to those who do not. We can choose to shift our life in fear or we can choose to shift it in love. If we send out signals of healing, compassion and love as a group the outcome will shift. Imagine just a million souls sending their love into the earth all at once.

The planets are aligning which is creating a great channel of energy for manifesting. Unlike the I want a big house, a better relationship or more money ( a la the Secret) manifesting, we can focus on others and the well being of the Earth which has carried us without ever demanding a thank you.

Hyper dimensions is another fancy word I managed to conjure up which is the mathematical alignment of special dimensions of which come from a higher frequency. Have we not observed or listened to how easy it is to communicate with the other side or our spirit guides? It is not the technology though it does help rather it is the thinning of the veil which the energy shifts are causing. The rotation of the planets is opening the doorways.

Once these doorways open will we move forward and together, begin again or fall to our fears. I am asked how many souls it will take to shift the world. It is a known fact that if 10% changes within a cell it can transform the entire cell. The same equation applies to the spirit. The bible however actually gives us a number of 144,000 souls. I know we will have more than this. Many souls will tune into their higher self which will pull us towards our purpose in life.

This is why these words are very important and it will pertain to those who have read thus far because you, yes the one who understands the importance, are the ones the rest of the world will have to rely on. Those of us who have awareness will have to take the others under our wings and teach them the path of love and truth.

There is a science behind the facts written here but there are also facts behind the spiritual importance of alignment of our souls. I believe science will be forced to admit they are not the smartest and the alignment will shatter their secrets. Things will break down but a system must break so that it can be invented with something better. Our system of finances is weak and not backed by anything. Your dollar could be worth ten cents tomorrow ($3.89 unleaded gas). Science, government and religion are too large and will soon tip. Once that happens we will all see what lurks inside.

To say that life will shift is an understatement. The choice however will be ours and judging what we see outside we must come together, share our love and thoughts by healing ourselves and others. What we have here is an Apocalypse of which I will begin to call this newsletter. The word does not mean what we have been directed to see. The word does not involve war or destruction or the crazy movie poster of Apocalypse. What it means is what will happen and continue for five years more after the 21st of December of 2012.

Apocalypse: Greek word which means; "lifting of the veil" or "revelation") a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e. the veil to be lifted.
