What are the Akashic Records?

Many of you have heard about the Akashic Records or the Hall of Records. If you are drawn to learn more it is because you have already been working within this information even if you were not aware you were!!!! You are now ready to learn more about the actual energy of the Akasha and also ready to understand your part within this energy.

However for anyone to whom the words Akashic Records are new here is my understanding of what this is and what we will be studying at Maria Shaw's Cosmic Connections Convention in Saginaw October 21-23.

All knowledge within the universe is available to every soul or spirit and is part of the Universal energy that surrounds all things. This information is within the very fabric of the universe itself. Some believe it is stored in books and located within a universal library. This is a good way to visualize the information and to get information from the Universe. The records contain all knowledge including alternative paths that were not chosen. Souls always have the freedom of choice. The future is not preordained. The knowledge within the universe contains everything thought, felt or done. Thoughts are things Highly emotional thoughts affect us more than non-emotional thoughts.

One of the purposes of the akashic records is to become one with our source or higher self and accept responsibility for our lives. To learn to tune into our higher self who has only our best interest in mind. Our Source works in the physical body to experience things and to get to places. Rather like a vehicle. For example a mother is physically connected with her baby while in the womb but once born the mom and baby do not communication telepathically as much as they did before. As a baby learns to communicate using their voices the Source appears to fade away.

I am very excited about the upcoming Akashic Records class. I decided to teach this class about a year ago and was so determined to write up a solid process for accessing the Akashic Records I reread or restudied several classes and teachers of this information to ensure I had the most up to date, fantastic method possible!

Yes, I was determined to create class on accessing and interpreting the information within the Hall of Records. Imagine my surprise and delight yesterday when I finally read over the class I wrote 33 years ago on how to access and interpret information located within the Hall of Records. AND it is far superior to anything I had read or learned. Hi Maria, Hi Joe,

I really liked Joe's story about ghost hunting, especially sharing the turning point question his colleague once asked him. I'm pretty sure you both are hearing that a lot these days, as so many are looking for guidance. I was interested because I've had a fascination with the dead, death, etc. all my life and am sensitive. I really enjoy ghost hunters and A Haunting on Animal Planet. I was recently asked what I enjoy and that popped out but unlike you, Joe, I am not sure where to take it. I recently got a great insight from Mrs. Lawson about life purpose and it is to do healing work, which is another interest. The only connection to the dead is having gone "there" in dream time after learning reiki and asking the angels to take me to a place for healing, and standing with two guides in a shadowy place where people had no color, emotion, nothing, but they were lined up and coming forward as I was being taught to do things with my hands on them...and then they lit up and whooshed away up. I was conscious I was in dreamtime and kept asking why I was there, and they kept teaching me instead. I was exhausted when I woke. My teacher laughed at me and said I didn't specify I wanted healing for myself! Hardy har har.

Will you be sharing more in the future, like your own website? Though I am a fan of ghost "hunting" I get anxious about all the hype, and worry about the ghosts and when will they go home. And no one seems to discuss protocol at all. They are people still, they just don't have bodies. Excuse me if you DO have a website and I have just been lame and not looked it up. Hi Maria & Joe,

I agree with the philosophy you have for your 'ghost hunting' group. My husband and I have quit watching the ghost hunting shows because yes they spend a lot of time debunking and or harassing the spirits.

A few years ago the Canadian Broadcasting Network had a show where two women would go to peoples houses and investigate situations and then do a spirit releasement. It was very interesting to hear that many spirits are earthbound due to confusion and or fear to cross over. This is the way I feel that the so-called hunts should end, by doing something good for the spirit or spirits. Of course many don't want to cross, they re perfectly happy staying on this plane in which case the homeowner needs to decide if they can share their house comfortably with them.

My husband does a lot of spirit releasement and it is amazing the numbers of spirits from all ages going back even to cave dwelling times that need help crossing. If you are doing this in conjunction with all else that you do on your hunting trips, it is truly a great service.

Zen mind: Enchantment

Being normal is a cruel ruler. Normalcy imposes that you follow the tribe along the path that has been laid out before you by others more educated or experienced than you. Fortunately there is always something to oppose and break open the vintage thinking. Enchantment is the secret to living an un-normal life.

What does Enchantment mean to you? What does it look like? Despite what a wizard will tell you Enchantment is not some magical love potion. Enchantment is a different way of seeing the same thing on a different path. Enchantment is more than a Zen mind on a spiritual path because Enchantment encompasses work, family, relationships and our personal organizational habits.

I could tell you about the enchantment my spirit guides sing about or I can run my awareness to the edge of it and share its secrets. For a long time I followed the tribe but when love poured its elixir into my mind, my heart and my creativity that I fully understood what it means to live an enchanting life. Imagine an amethyst bird rising from your body and taking you away from that dark cave; you can't blame me for wanting to fly across the bridge singing and dancing waiting to join my soul Avianna each and every time. To me living enchanting is inspiring her to live her dream.

You carry all the ingredients to turn your life into an enchanting flight.

So how do you begin? Borrowing from Steve Jobs who said "I know I am going to die so why would I be afraid to take a risk or fail? I'm going to die anyway." Adding to that statement I would suggest you read the obituaries once a week. Now why would I ask you to do that? Because you believe you have tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and think about that for longer than two seconds.

Enchantment is how you perceive the sounds of laughter or how you determine the next step you take according to your blueprint. Enchantment is a song played with a golden trumpet that inspires others to live a real life but in order to live our minds must be empty to understand what it means. Emptiness is a term that is polished in many spiritual traditions but part of our humanness is to filter, think, create and innovate. Therefore our minds will never be completely empty but by simplifying your brain you can uncover the existence of enchantment.

Begin with a humble enchantment to inspire one person so that God doesn't have to do all the work. Be honest with yourself by writing down your truth. Are you happy, angry or confused? Are you tired of the job or your life? Do you want to move out or go to another state? What is your truth? It's your choice whether you want to share your truth but be warned that by doing so the results may reveal a truth you may not be ready for.

I often like to remind people that life is not as long as we, or should I say I would like it to be. So what do you do with the divine life that is given to your body? Do you enchant or do you follow the tribe. I am no expert in life but I do remember the reflection of enchantment when I looked; it was my face and my heart.

In your wondrous soft eyes the sublime beauty of your soul is against my own. I can see you, all of you and we are no different. I need your help enchanting others. Stop following the tribe.

The full moon this past Monday was in Pisces, opening the subconscious. Pay special attention to the dreams you had this past few days and perhaps over the course of this week. They could be very prophetic.

This week we are still experiencing some confusion and mental blockages. Also someone around you is possibly being deceptive. It could be a romantic partner/relationship or a business colleague. You should be able to see the deception more clearly by weeks end so please wait a little while before making any big decisions. If anyone in your circle is being extremely aggressive, trying to get you to commit to something you do not want to do, postpone any decisions until you see them more clearly.

This aspect is called Mercury oppose Neptune. Something may be presented to you as fact and seem very logical. You may even say, there's no way it can't be. But if your gut is telling you something is not right, go with your gut! Things may appear very real and logical but you must trust your intuition now. It will show you the right answer. There is just so much deception now, on many levels, so please be extra cautious with everything you are dealing with!

I had a client last week go on a job interview. The owners of the business deceived her into thinking she was going to have to do very little for a lot of money. She was very excited because it seemed so black and white. But I told her to trust her feelings. She said she didn't feel comfortable about something but could not put her finger on what she felt was wrong. Later she found out, the job actually entailed much more than was presented to her and the salary was based on commission with the base pay much lower than the owners had led her to believe she would make.

Also some of you may go through a phrase where you are misplacing items. You may forget where you put things, lose keys, etc. Slow down and make hand written notes to insure you remember things. All week I have made notes of things to do and deadlines to meet.

In leading into my next prediction, Pam Mann will be speaking at our Cosmic Connections Convention in October on how to prepare you and your family for the earth changes that continue to come. This summer, we had the east coast hurricane and other crazy weather patterns occur around the country/world. There have been unexpected earthquakes and in the most unlikely places, like the D.C. area.

Astrologically, we are in a cycle that continues to bring us unexpected earth changes and weather. And like the earthquake in the east, these crazy occurrences can crop up anywhere and at anytime due to the Uranus square Pluto aspect. This is very strong right now. Fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes….you name it. Things are going to happen. So be prepared with extra supplies on hand and tools you can use like the essential oils and natural remedies. We have not seen the full effect of this aspect, of Uranus square Pluto, which is at its strongest, March 2015 and for the following three years. Learn as much as you can now about how to be prepared for unexpected disasters as the earth goes through many changes in the next decade.

Last week at the psychic fun fairs in Lapeer and Port Huron, Mi I spoke with many clients about their investments. I predicted years ago, that 2011-2102 we would see the dollar fall drastically. This is happening now and these next few weeks. If you've been watching the news, the Euro is in bad shape and could fall soon. Then the dollar will probably be next within a few weeks. If you have gold, hang onto it. Everyone will want to buy it as its price continues to shoot up.

The sun is going into peace loving Libra next week and supports relationships and partnerships. However, this is not the case this year as there are a few days coming up between the 25th and the 28th that will be quite difficult for relationships. Do not allow yourself to get caught up in other people's drama. This could be a tough week and a relationship will be at the center of it; quite possible a romantic one. You should not put a lot on your plate the end of September or for the first two weeks of October because you will have lots to deal with on an emotional level, because of a relationship dilemma. But above all else, keep your cool, don't get sucked into other's drama or issues. Try to remain calm. Someone will really get to you. You may feel like you want to fight back. In some cases, you should. But choose your battles carefully. I feel many of you will have to stand up for yourself, and defend your self-respect. It's like you may have no choice but to fight but again, really try to stay centered and choose your battles. It will be a tough period with Saturn, Venus and the sun at odds in one form or another. (You can bet Ronnie and Sammy will be going at it! LOL)
